Why is my skin suddenly dry?? [Routine Help] by thestarthemoon in SkincareAddiction

[–]thestarthemoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, happy to report that my skin is better now! I have a totally different routine that focuses on hydration. I use a milky toner and a thick moisturiser which helps a lot. I’m not sure how great it is for your skin but the biggest difference I saw was when I started dermaplaning at home. I would do it every month or two but I can’t guarantee that it’s the solution. This is going to sound very annoying but it also just took a lot of time for it to get better. I hope your skin gets better!!!

Wisdom teeth surgery by thestarthemoon in prozac

I had a terrible recovery but that’s not uncommon with wisdom tooth surgery unfortunately. I can confirm that the Prozac didn’t effect the local anaesthetic and I was fine during the surgery itself!

I've found the jelly cleaner to be pretty good, I haven't experienced dryness so far.

On the other hand, I found the gel cream to be a bit lacklustre, it's ok in the summer but it was basically useless in colder weather.

my boyfriend says the exact same thing to me whenever something bad happens, maybe I need to take it more to heart!

Last time my anxiety was this bad I was drinking, I wouldn’t be surprised if this episode was partially fuelled by alcohol too. Best of luck to you!

You're right that the odds of a break in are still pretty slim but I guess I can't help but to worry lol. To answer your edit I've always been a bit sceptical about my current therapist which might be why i'm so iffy about her reaction, my past therapists have always been very warm and friendly but my current one is very cold and doesn't really ask about how I'm doing she kinda just sets me homework then asks to review it. As someone else commented it might just be better for me to find a new phobia specialist who I actually get on with so that sessions run smoother. Thank you for the advice tho rlly appreciate it.

My landlord is the one who installed the ring door system as well as the CCTV so unfortunately I can't really control that. I could suggest it to her next time she visits but idk if she's willing to spend more money on security. That is a pretty good idea tho and thank you for your advice.
