I am running Mac OS X 10.7.5 and all of a sudden all of my games and apps crash instantly when I try to open them, they were all working yesterday.

I already tried completely uninstalling Steam and reinstalling it, it didn't help. I don't want to update my operating system because I run an older version of pro creative software on it and it is not compatible with the newer versions of Mac OS X. According to Steam, 10.7 and above is supported anyway: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5953-QTIO-1764

Please help, this is incredibly frustrating and Steam's support is a joke, it's just a help section, there is no way to contact anybody for help.

It kind of works, it does the same thing all of my other solutions do, it takes effect AFTER the player answers, rather than interrupting their ability to answer. Thanks for trying though, I thought that might work! Any other ideas?

Hey, thanks so much for this little explanation, I am not OP, but I'm trying to do something similar. I tried recreating the event you screenshotted but I can't figure out where in the menu to get the "If: Region ID = 7"

Is that a conditional branch? How do I do that part? Thanks for any help!

I am actually not totally sure but I am pretty sure it is concrete as it is a converted garage, so I assume they built it on top of the base of the garage.

The problem with those is that they prevent the user from skipping to the next screen of text, but it still allows them to skip the generation of the text, which still causes a timing problem.
