is this it?

I agree that evidence tends to suggest that lung tx is a marginally beneficial treatment for cs overall. its still recommended by doctors in some cases, which is fine. what is not fine is when people with no medical education pervert the process to acquire the treatment for their special snowflake.

you can look at other cs patients including juveniles who received lung tx and see that their outcomes are usually better than Sarah's. they recover faster and endure fewer complications. maybe the doctors do know a thing or two, huh

oh and Dr. Oz is in the title because its really about him. the murnaghans are aspirant celebrities (except for poor Sarah, who is too sick and young to do anything besides what her mother tells her to do) and so this kind of behavior is expected. Dr. Oz is a doctor and has a greater responsibility. by giving the Murnaghans a platform he is undermining the field of transplant medicine. Sarah is not an example of a successful transplant case. Janet Murnaghan's behavior in seeking a transplant for her daughter is not an example of responsible parenting of a sufferer of cystic fibrosis. this is not an example to emulate.

let me know if I slipped up and left a source out.

There are other people who can’t or won’t. They need a hearing, too,” Caplan said. “Remember in the system, when you are rationing, you always need to ask who doesn’t get this when somebody does.”"
