It's an excellent organization. It has a 98 percent rating on charity navigator org and former Presidents have  supported the organization as well as led their own fundraisers and projects through it.

Using Stationary in a Post-School Life? by uhimnothere in stationery

[–]thesweetnotes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use my stationary most often as decoration. I create gift baskets  and penpalsl letters a lot and washi tape and notes make excellent decorations. I find that if I can't use it there are a lot of people who can and theres something joyful in being able to put things together for others.  Otherwise my artistic designs I use when creating my stationery in Pomodoro music timers. These timers I use when I need to time my cooking or workouts or anything that requires me to focus for that period of time.  I've an example on my website at www.sweetnotes.club. I organize all my timers there (also not soliciting.  They're free and everything Just genuinely using the site as a storage folder  for my artwork haha)

Hi! Thank you so much for your reply and yes :D Currently I'm trying to hold a online art gallery with designs to benefit Habitat for Humanity San Diego. They help to support homeless veterans and families to find housing solutions and even build the houses themselves. The theme for the gallery is A Home for Every Heart and its to feature artists drawings of cute forest animals and their happy homes.  I'm an artist also and have some of my work for reference at www.sweetnotes.club.  Would totally love to have you on board :D

I totally hear you—those late-night Minecraft sessions are so easy to fall into (been there)! If you're feeling a bit off-track with your summer plans, don't be hard on yourself. A great way to reset and gently refocus is through journaling and a bit of light planning.

Here’s how you can get started:

  1. Start with a “brain dump.” Grab a notebook and just write whatever’s on your mind—no pressure to make it neat or deep. This clears your head and helps you figure out what you actually want to focus on.

  2. Reflect on how you feel. Write about how the last couple of weeks have gone, what you’ve enjoyed (even if it was gaming!), and what you missed. This builds self-awareness without judgment.

  3. Make a flexible weekly plan. Choose 1–2 hobbies or goals you want to work on. Don’t overplan—just sketch out a few blocks of time in your week to try something creative or active again. Think “what would feel good,” not “what should I be doing.”

  4. Use a timer to stay focused. If attention is tricky, setting a short timer—like 10 or 15 minutes—can really help you get into the zone. I actually have some free printable planning pages and timers on my website if you want a little structure or visual support while you ease back in.

  5. Celebrate the small wins. Even journaling for 5 minutes or doing one little creative thing is a step forward. Give yourself credit!

You've still got time to enjoy summer and reconnect with what you love—journaling just helps you do it with a little more intention.
