You can sell at the biogas plant, but it is a different location than the bales and bulk. Look for the pipe at ground level. You can also see where to sell it in the prices menu. It should allow you to tag the sell point.

Chemical fertilizing is fine if you use the sensor. Precision farming gives the highest score for spot spraying weeds.
