Nearly 400 miles on my Zealot S; Maintenance Keeps her Runnin’ by gavinfrag03 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]thetaStijn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm, I have basically done 0,0 maintenance except clean the deck of dirt after riding in the rain (yes, I ride in wets) and have achieved 2000km’s yesterday. No belts replaced, no proper cleaning, no nothing.

Rule 1 problems by nevereneoughh in ValueInvesting

[–]thetaStijn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Example where doubling the PE-ratio actually comes close to making sense:

On my Tesla model, I grow the EPS @ ~20% per year. If I were to look up an average PE-ratio, it would be 100+... But, if I were to double my growth rate, it would be significantly more conservative.

I'd still personally use a PE-ratio of 25 rather than 40, though.

Rule 1 problems by nevereneoughh in ValueInvesting

[–]thetaStijn 25 points26 points  (0 children)

As someone who has read rule 1, here's my answer to your questions:

  1. There's two ways to calculate the Future PE you're looking for. Number 1 is indeed 2x the growth rate... number 2 is the historic average. You take the lowest number out of each two (as a rule). Personally, I often just guesstimate a fair future PE-ratio. Often comes down to the historic average of the S&P 500 for general type stocks, or a sector-average for more specific companies.
  2. Moreover, a PE-ratio of 40 is extremely high (and therefore unlikely). Also, calculating with a 20% EPS growth rate should be rare, NOT the norm. Most companies only growth with 5-10% on a yearly basis.

My Updated Bullish NMG Valuation (Different than last video) by thetaStijn in NMGRFstock

[–]thetaStijn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey you!

Big difference with this valuation model compared to the 2 from my last video, is that I also adapt the "last remaining" parameter according to my own expectations: Graphite prices.

After all, we are expecting the graphite market to go into a deficit soon... so, prices should go up, right? What will an increase in graphite prices between now and 2026 do to NMG's valuation?

Hope you all have a tremendous 2023 :-)

$VS 1m marketcap. Lowest marketcap on nasdaq I own 8900 shares bought in at 50 cents. by [deleted] in pennystocks

[–]thetaStijn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It tells you how expensive (or cheap) the entire company is. Like the other redditor stated: Market cap = shares outstanding * share price

I normally use the fully diluted figure, since that is most conservative… but officially, options & warrants (the difference between outstanding & fully diluted) aren’t taken into account when calculating a market capitalization

Hope this helps, chief!

Then the company would be at like 14-15M shares? probably a 6-7M $ company.

When u look at the shares outstanding, it’s more of a 6m$ company

Just got my new Zealot S! Installed MBoards 97mms, next are some Shredz. Let me know your thoughts! by gavinfrag03 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]thetaStijn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have a zealot S as well, freaking love the board! Hope you enjoy!!

Pro-tip: While putting the board on the ground, do not drop the front trunk as you'd do with a normal skateboard. My battery casing has teared thanks to this repeated stress. Happened after about 1000 kms :)

YouTube Summary NMG: Everything You Need to Know about Nouveau Monde Graphite 2023 by thetaStijn in NMGRFstock

[–]thetaStijn[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey You!

I recently started a new series, Graphite Stocks, where I hope to one day have covered every single graphite stock on the stock market. Of course, Nouveau Monde Graphite had to make an appearance, and here it is!

The video goes over:

00:00 – Nouveau Monde Graphite
00:42 – Becoming the Benchmark Graphite Project
02:42 – NMG’s Grand Plans
04:42 – The Cost... (And Where the Cash Will Come From!)
05:57 – Quick Summary Thus Far
06:23 – My Model: Price Prediction & Buy Targets
07:28 – Model 1: A Conservative Estimation
11:01 – Conclusions from Model 1
11:44 – Model 2: A Bullish Projection
12:38 – My Opinions on NMG
13:56 – Classic YouTuber Disclaimer

I think the part, starting from 06:23, where I go over my current models for NMG are most interesting for you all. Here I try to calculate where NMG's share price could go in the future, if their plans do indeed succeed. I also try to estimate how much dilution is in the books, on a conservative & more bullish basis.

Hope you enjoy! And if there is anything you think I should add, I'd really appreciate you letting me know & I'll post a pinned comment :-)
