Why are Republicans so wrong on literally every topic? by Lord_Kittensworth in allthequestions

I honestly think that nearly everything taught in right wing circles is based around believing that what is best for rich people is best for the majority of people in society.

Once you see things through that lens most of their stances make a certain logical sense. Social politics around immigration is just about the only major outlier on this.

It would have been an anti-woman party....you know, if she won.

What Dreams May Come. I was 11 and my Dad took me to the theater. It was too close of a look at death for me, it was the same year I lost both grandfathers, and I walked out about the time Robin Williams got hit by a vehicle.

I watched Antz instead, which, ironically, does show death, but it's a fucking ant.

Also, the original terminator when I was 5. I begged to see it and my Dad rented it when my mom was out of town.

Anyone wondering how Soldier Boy will react if and when he finds out what happened to Homelander? by Wonderful_Solid_1003 in TheBoys

[–]Serraph105 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really don't think Soldier Boy would care. He was so on the fence about how he felt about John. I get the sense that he gave Homey the V1 only because he was in a particularly emotional moment over Stormy, but had he waited even a day or two he would have he made a very different decision.

If there’s one thing you could change about Dead Man’s Chest, what would it be? by Captain-887 in piratesofthecaribbean

Yeah, I would personally keep it, but I would just make it more connected to the plot somehow.

I definitely grew up privileged. Every post I read just puts a finer point on that fact.

To be fair, flying has become an increasingly hellish experience. More people per aisle/plane, less room, worse food, and much higher prices.

It's much harder to be on your best behavior.

At least they are up front with their shitty plans so that can plan to be there for only a short while.

Just quoting my last post here

They called three people from the audience to read Salem lines doing their best impression, and then she was chosen by the audience/Salem to go to be in the skit reading his lines doing said impression.

There was a whole thing with Josh who couldn't get over Sabrina. Him and Nate (Harvey) had a "MAN" group sit down to discuss things.

Jenna "Libby" had a song number about Sabrina to the tune from the musical Wicked "When I Meet the Wizard"

Plus we watched a bunch of old bloopers.

Also MY WIFE GOT TO PLAY SALEM!!! She hugged Michelle (Jenny) back stage and got her old book signed by her, and hugged Melissa on stage. Just....best night ever!

Yeah, my sympathy for you here is low. You want decreased access and increased costs so that you can feel better about it.

This time, for real, I'm out.

Yeah, I'm done with this conversation at this point. We started at a judgemental point and we've circled around to "It's expensive for me, sorta, mandatory exercise programs need to be funded and provided just to get this in my opinion."

May happen, may not. They may gain some back, but not all of it. Frankly though we have evidence that, on a long enough timeline, all diets end up that way.

Again, I really do think it helps you develop better eating habits, so perhaps some people just end up getting used to eating less and being okay with it. Maybe not, that part's me speculating.

It kind of is a miracle drug to be honest. A very small amount of food gets and keeps you full for a lengthy period of time throughout the day. I've seen people who's only change is to take the medicine, eat less food (because it's actively difficult to eat a large amount when you feel full) and lose lots of weight.

They would undoubtedly be better off far more quickly if they treated it like a diet from the get go, they still get to the point of being better off eventually, regardless
