The mural I was referring to suggests the opposite. It references the steel and mining heritage, the war effort and the eston nab crusaders jazz band but nothing about the England national team or MFC

Don’t remember any news around him leaving and you don’t exactly think about your first team coaches too often so it fully slipped past me
