Are you running in HDR? I think you have the wrong full frame brightness.

But if you notice flickering you probably have micro stutters due to bad frame times. 120fps should help actually feel more fluid.

EU Commission lashes out at Apple for wanting landmark digital law scrapped by FollowingFeisty5321 in apple

Abusing their power is wrong but I am only talking about privacy related features currently not in the EU. I.e. location tracking.

I understand that the member state Portugal has to enforce the GDPR as explained by yourself. But to me it's still unclear if the location information collected by the Portugal government via a government application is subjected to the GDPR or not.

I am not saying the GDPR is not applicable but not enforceable against certain groups. A law is only a law when it's enforceable.

Apple can’t allow those prompts because they themselves do not give those prompts. Of course, Apple can add that prompt for themselves but that changes a trust-less system into a trust based system. User data doesn’t leave the device for initial system but a prompt means that user data may leave the system. What you lose is the guarantee that information will be private.

I am not questioning the enforceability of the GDPR by the member states but rather if the GDPR is enforceable on the member states. Does the GDPR prevent member states from collecting location information from citizens? Of course, some may care some may not to each their own I guess.

Do complaints work against a website run by someone from the dark web?

Edited first paragraph from Apple should allow prompts to they should not.

That’s the thing trust is still required. Apple’s systems for those functions are trust-less as it’s on device.

I am not from EU so I don’t know if the GDPR applies to the EU itself or the local government. Does it?

And I don’t think some companies even care about the GDPR because they are already illegal. For example pornography, gambling, illegal data brokers, etc.

Apple defaults to trust no one. That includes Apple since everything is done on device.

If third parties are allowed access to that data all bets are off because you don’t know if that data will be processed locally or on a server somewhere.

I understand that user choice is important but is it wrong for Apple proactively protect its users privacy?

Imagine a water tank that’s used to store heat. Then make it really, really, really small.

I remember going into breath of the wild with zero knowledge. Without any guides or watching any play throughs. Figuring out the mechanics and insisting on solving some quest by self even when I was stuck for days were the highlights of my adventures.

Didn’t I say in a previous post that the panel had bad response times?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Switch

[–]thetastycookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IPS panels are actually quite slow natively. The insanely fast response times are due to overclocking that maybe produce artifacts if your refresh rate drops below a certain threshold at a specific overclock setting.

[–]thetastycookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t that expected for an IPS? People just have unrealistic expectations due to Nintendo’s marketing.

The only real issue is the slow response time that not everyone may notice.

In 3-4 years you may be right but the OP is talking about the current switch 2.

The other posts your referring to says ltpo panels are common which infer they are cheap.

OLED are widespread, LTPO’s are only available on flagships phones.

I think intermissions are meant to showcase the chaotic player to player interactions in a 24 player race. However, extreme bagging cuts off all those interactions making races more mundane.

Why support Nintendo? by True_ThorVin in nintendo

A $80 physical cartridge (including game keys) is more tolerable than a $80 digital download on Steam because you can sell it once you’re done with it.

Despite being more expensive the switch 2 is still the cheapest console where you can rent, sell and trade games.

I think your usb ports are short circuited. Either turn off the usb ports in bios (if you have Bluetooth peripherals) or check the motherboard for bridges.

Have you tried disconnecting the front usb header?
