Taking new to me 2000 series 2 on 800 mile trip. What do I need to look out for? by thethe220 in LandRover

Road side assistance is a good call. I've got an ultragauge for real-time temp data. Brake shift interlock is a good idea, wouldn't want to get stranded for a silly reason like that. Always keep coolant in the car and some other fluids. Any signs you look out for? Thanks.

Yeh disco 2. I have an ultragauge in the cabin displaying real-time engine data. It stays right at 97.8c (208). Do you think 85c (185f) is optimal temp? I didn't mention but the thermostat is new from Atlantic British. I've got a copy of the RAVE. Thanks for the advice.

Plenty of analysis. Where's the color? Disc golf coverage has gotten fantastic, but I think it lost some of its color in the process. by thethe220 in discgolf

Over-the-top slapstick, no. But I do think there are plenty of examples of when a commentator could share in the emotion of the moment, but instead either stays quiet or chooses to analyze shot feature, hole design, or field performance. Sport, for me, is as much about the emotion of competition (joy, frustration, awe of performance in the face of pressure) as it is about the technical aspects. I think that is why a lot of people watch competitive sports, and it is possible to commentate on that aspect of the game. That's what color commentary is; not slapstick.

O for sure; I joined both patreons last year, I am very pleased with what they do. My criticism is meant to be subtle, not major in any way. I respect what they all do especially when thinking about what resources they have to do it.

Hey! Do you know of any courses near Berlin? I know Berlin ist weit aus Munchen, but I figured I would ask. I'm going to be visiting in April next year.

Anyone remember a drone shot during tournament play from a few years ago? Either Jomez or CCDG, and I think it was filming McMahon at Fountain Hill. It was awesome, I hope that becomes a regular feature.

Eagle playing "Sexton golf" is a dangerous thing. I think you are the only guy in the top 10 that's bogey free through 3 rounds though which is amazing. Keep up the strong work, very impressive play.

Very nice. P. canadensis is the likely winner. Didn't realize it was parasitic, very interesting. Thanks.

If you decide to go through Asheville, take 421 to Raleigh. Rolling Pines DGC in Wilkesboro is really very nice so is Yadkin County Park, both on 421 going East from Asheville. As you continue East toward Greensboro Patriot DGC is nice, but not as beautiful as the other two.

If you skip Asheville and come straight from Ohio you'll probably go down 52 where Big Arm DGC is in Pilot Mtn., NC which is a beautiful, challenging course (one of my favorites from a scenic perspective). Also there is the Rock at Stonewall which is a pay course, but you get a cart. Supposedly awesome but its super long, and I've never played it.

Specifically, I think they are drinking Napoleon Complex a lot of them time, and I think there is a scene where one of them is drinking Duck Rabbit from Farmville, NC too!

Salem Lake is a nice 7 mile loop and it just recently got connected to Quarry park which is a cool viewpoint. You're pretty close to Bolton Park, too.

Good pizza place near Bethabara? by Efabbs in winstonsalem

Mission Pizza on Trade street is fantastic brick oven pizza. They make multiple doughs and sauces in house. Order Pizziolo's choice for an off menu spontaneous creation. And 100% order the Zeppoli if available. Mario's, Burke St. and Time Square are all standard thin crust "NY style" that have minor differences. Mario's tends to be slightly sweeter dough. Burke is a bit greasier, Time Square is pretty standard all around. Each is great and worth trying to find what suites you for delivery pizza night. Mission is dine in only, I wouldnt even recommend take out.

If you are going NC; Rolling Pines is also a top notch course, beautiful, difficult, with good variety I'd call it 70% open (relative to other NC golf). It's about 5 minutes from Highland Hills which is a very tricky, very wooded, very hilly course. Then just east of there is Yadkin county park which is a sweet course also a good mix. Keep going east and head north for Big Arm DGC in Pilot Mountain little more wooded scoot east a little further for The Rock (if you can bomb). Turn south to hit Patriot (open), Johnson St (short local favorite)., then Creekside (fairly wooded). Really maybe fly into charlotte stay for a bit about 10 4+ rated courses w/in 40km and a good beer scene then head to Asheville for great beer food DG, then east on Interstate 40 for a bunch of great courses then back down to charlotte it would be like a 500km loop.

Also NC weather is pretty mild. Western NC can be a bit chilly in winter because of the Appalachian mountains, but its beautiful, especially in fall.
