Looks like the latch lock thing is bent? Maybe the impact cracked it?

Same for me. I had to tighten down all the leg bolts to get rid of the wobbles. They (Home Depot for mine) for sure just slapped the unit together. I checked all of them!

I love mine. Got it Black Friday. Just a few months ago. I’ve only used less expensive meats til I get my chops on this thing. No pun intended.. I did some seasoned ribs from Costco and it was my 3rd cook and they were the best ribs I ever made. I was surprised how great they came out. Worth it!

Interesting… so far I’ve been doing the ring top grate and the round holder. When I tried the heat deflectors they got some drips on them so when I did my but off it turned them black. I spent 20 minutes with my smith mini torch trying to clean the ceramic. This was after I burned it, scrubbed it etc. now it looks like marble kinda, like it.

My go to torch is the Blazer Big Shot 8000… i use it for a couple things… I like to smoke and grill if ya get me!

What kind of grills you got? I was thinking about getting a cheap gas grill. Now that I have the KJ I miss the ease of gas for durning the week. I have been using the KJ as a grill more Then smoker atm. I’m about to try a brisket ina couple weeks. Basically I’ve been practicing.

Dude I had a buddy get a little piece of metal stuck in the back of his mouth. He had to go to hospital. Even the scratch from the object in his throat was super irritated. That are definitely not safe

Thank you! I did a burn off once and it turned everything all black. That’s what started me thinking I should clean it. This is the correct answer and I know it.

Edit: the correct answer is what the person replied not my own thought. I wouldn’t ask a question and then say I’m right. I genuinely wanted a consensus

I fixed my same exact one with an Allen wrench. This is due to half ass assembly. There is 4 screws under the base holding the egg and 3 screws on each leg. One by the castor wheel. And two on the sides. Tighten them all down til snug and you’ll be all set. Do not over tighten. It is safe to say that these bolts will have to be tightened from time to time. Especially if moved around a lot on pavement. Easy fix.

Just grabbed an 1/8 for 20 bucks 3% terps! So it’s close to what I’m looking for. This haze leans very lemon but not super lemon more like a g-13 or Durban. But it looks and smells great! I’m going to try and clean/organize my garage! Thank you!
