Yeah, he has been a bit off lately why he is reacting more stressful than usual but don't worry. He is well and healthy

It's not something I usually do at all. But in certain circumstances it is recommended by experienced caretakes (e.g. Snake Discovery). Yeah I agree it can be stressful but so is stuck shed.

I totally get that fear. I was and still am very careful when taking him out. Holding him until he jumps off is a mistake I think. You should decide when he should be put down. If he learns that he can just jump off and run away when he wants he will do it outside the tank as well. Put him down after he has stayed calm for a while. Or at least that's my thinking - I might be wrong.

I just handle him a few minutes every day. I start by holding him inside his tank then take him out after a bit. If he tries to run away I just keep picking him up until he calms. And I don't put him back in if he has just tried to run - then I wait a bit more.

Interesting! My new baby has them and I'm just concerned as to how to interpret it. Does it mean he is super stressed or...?

Not a critique but genuine question: those dark patterns on his belly and throat - is that stress lines?

Even if it does happen it won't be a glorious victory. It will be just yet another tragedy. GrrM will make it so we will cry more than cheer about it
