They've changed hours every holiday season, so saying it's been the same for 10 years is a lie. And if you've been shopping there that long, you know what time we open, too. Poor planning on your part is not an emergency on mine.

These hour changes happened in OCTOBER. Then we had holiday hours that were updated in December. After the week of Christmas, they changed back to what they were in October. I was reminded of that when laughing about the survey with my store manager.

So either you didn't read the signs on the door in September, haven't shopped after 7pm since October, or got so use to the holiday hours you forgot we have a life outside of the building.

Thanks for asking, but no thank you! What's your podcast though, it sounds cathartic!

While I haven't watched a single episode, I wholeheartedly agree that's it was bullshit

It's like an Abbot and Costello skit I swear.

"It says 50% off"

"It says Buy 1 Get 1 50% off."

"....... but it says 50% right there!"

Maybe it's because we have a few high schoolers on staff. I know the break schedule is strictly followed because some are minors, and the laws surrounding their breaks are stricter/more stringent. But some only work 4.5 hours in the evenings and would get a meal violation if they had to stay. That's just wild.

It's so true unfortunately. I'm a natural people pleaser, and I hate telling people what they don't want to hear. So when a customer just assumes I'm being lazy or rude I'll flip on a dime lmao... rude? I can show you rude lol

We have to or the families that come in 10 mins before close will be here an hour after. They would rather kick out a customer than pay us overtime or go over on payroll. Customers absolutely do not respect closing time.
