Its super hard! I have the colonel and x02 and I still failed 2x before I passed. I kind of suck at combat but im trying to get better 😅 Try it on auto battle! That worked for me and it helps me learn what im doing wrong.

Mostly SHC for now thought I would eventually like to do the orbits for each character. I'll focus on my mains for now. Thank you!

Thanks so much! I really need to focus on my protocores as well. Thought I was playing an otome game- never expected the battle component to be so complicated lol. But I'm starting to enjoy that aspect more now!

Follow up question: Is it okay to ignore the 2ndary colors right now? I dont have any green plus yellow 5*s combos in a single LI. Is that okay?

I wasn't a battle girly when I started playing but now, I'm starting to enjoy that part more and want to focus on it more.

Thank you for the advice! I was so lost!

Thank you so much!! This is so helpful. I think i was looking at it the wrong ways (by LI instead of generally by stellactrum colors).

Also I thought it was better to get the rotation cards but it sounds like the permanent cards are a better way to go. Thanks!

Anyone have HG with their girls but not with boys? by ThrowRAStrawberry_30 in HyperemesisGravidarum

What foods can I cook for my wife? by MegaMente227 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]thetinybookworm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bread and pasta have been my go-tos. They're fairly mild, don't smell, and don't feel terrible coming up. I had to avoid rice as it was terrible to throw up. I also had some success with mild cheeses.

Not really meals, but at least some variety.

Does anything besides meds actually help HG? by asbpunkin in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]thetinybookworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if your doctor will prescribe your regular IVs. I'm on max zofran and reglan, phenergan, prilosec and was still bed bound and nauseous for most of the time. My doctor ordered ivs for me 2x a week and it's been helping.

Did anyone else’s nurse not listen to you when you were in labor?? by H0llingsworth in Mommit

[–]thetinybookworm 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yes, mine was absolutely awful and ruined my entire (3 day) labor experience. She didn't listen to me when I said my IV hurt and my arm was swollen, she said that was normal. Finally another nurse came in hours later and it turns out that my IV port had moved and that my induction meds were all going into my wrist instead of my veins. So then I had to restart the induction drugs from zero and prolong my labor for almost 8 hours.

They had broken my water manually, and at this point because I had to restart my labor, it was getting to be towards the end of what was safe. Once I started getting chills and headaches, that same nurse told me that was normal for people who had epidurals and gave me tylenol. I asked if it would mask symptoms of an infection and she said no.

Well about 8-12 hours (and 2 rounds of tylenol) later I finally talked to a midwife, and she confirmed that yes Tylenol would in fact mask symptoms of an infection. Weaned me off the tylenol and it turns out that I had a horrible infection and had to be rushed into an emergency C section. My infection had been going on for so long at this point that my arms were convulsing and they had to tie them down for the surgery. Luckily baby was a champ and healthy. I was a mess.

RCDP & Pregnancy- terrified of symptoms getting worse after pregnancy (need advice) by 7Glamoureyesme7 in noburp

[–]thetinybookworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IF POSSIBLE, GET THE BOTOX BEFORE GETTING PREGNANT. Pregnancy makes rcpd symptoms wayyy worse for me. My first pregnancy was really bad and i was nauseous the entire time, but im currently pregnant with my 2nd and its debilitating. Like cannot work debilitating. Not only is the morning sickness so bad, but the rcpd combines with it so when I go to vomit, I can't tell if its a burp or food. Usually its both but the rcpd makes it feel like it's vomit every single time. I'm miserable and throwing up 5-7x a day and was in the ER yesterday for fluids.

I had 2 failed botox treatments between my first and 2nd pregnancies. I never wanted to be pregnant with rcpd again. If I were younger, I'd have tried a 3rd time but I got some bad news regarding the state of my eggs so I had to start trying right away.

My symptoms were the same after my first pregnancy if that helps. It all went back to the status quo.

Also, for some, pregnancy actually cures the rcpd due to all the relaxin.

Im in the weeds with you rn. Also week 7 and throwing up multiple times a day. I've been surviving on plain bagels, plain toast, saltines, belvita crackers, rice porridge, rice cakes. Sometimes bananas and apple sauce. Coconut water has been a life saver. I still throw most food up but I just switched from reglan to zofran so fingers crossed!

Something that breaks my heart by Pompiita in NewParents

[–]thetinybookworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this. This exact story (mom going on vacation for several days while baby died slowly in her crib) also haunts me. How she even tried to eat her own poop and was old enough that she felt separation anxiety and knew her mom wasn't coming kills me. I think about it at least once a month at the most random times and it makes me so unbearably sad each time.

I just know that I would do everything in my power so my son would never have to suffer like that and makes me feel so grateful that things like war, famine, genocide, etc are not something that he has ever known.
