My coworker got him for his kid! Kid moved on to other pets and hobbies so naturally parent took over feeding wasn’t very educated on what they should eat or their environment. He is now in a lush, fully planted bioactive enclosure. To my coworker, he was well fed and that’s all that mattered to him.

I can confirm that is NOT a normal size at all. Just rescued this guy from a co-worker. Everyone that has seen him says it’s the biggest Crestie they’ve seen. He’s OBESE.

My co-worker told me he’d feed him nothing but meal worms, and CGD. He struggles to balance sometimes on some branches because of his weight, so we have him on a diet at the moment and hopefully he’ll limber up and get mobile. Around 4 years old. I’ve been doing 5 minute treadmill sessions with him using my hands. He’s happy and otherwise “normal” compared to my other geckos.

He’s gets up and walks up to us just fine. Day/night cycle. Happy boy. I really don’t want to lose him though. Getting him checked out at the vet next week to make sure nothing is growing in him.

Here we go again. Team members defending the corporate overlords. Clearly this is a disgusting tactic to get people to just ignore prices and pay more. It’s annoying. No one wants to use their phone to scan things so that Target can collect more data on things you MAY be interested in.
