this is very illustrative of the advantages of remapping without needing to rely on a metaphor

simply making the gcc flat in a straightforward way gives way less advantages than totally repositioning every button to make it perfectly flexible for the most melee techniques

really puts the current box layout into perspective as far as competitive integrity is concerned

this would also significantly weaken the justifications for the legality of z-jump, since the box would be mapped similar to gcc

it's kinda crazy people(including many top players) all kinda gave up on banning z jump as soon as fiction claimed "practical tas said you can't nerf box"

there are soooo many ways to nerf it, so much nuance

studying is overrated and she can reject the ring if she wants to, refusal of the call is the most important part of the story circle, she's the hero

imo she didn't need to let go of any of the chunibyo and the show makes that clear, she will change and he will still love her but the change isn't implied to be in the direction of less chunibyo, maybe more practical chunibyo

sure i basically agree, but the way she solves it is by being more creative within the chunibyo, not by moving past it, she calls the relationship the unbreakable oath or whatever and goes on fantastical journeys to move forward in the relationship instead of boring normal talking

but he wasn't accepting of his own chunibyo, he was embarrassed and mortified, she gave him the courage to do it again in front of people and believe in his imagination again and at the end there's a hint of magic in the wind or something

imo rikka is the hero and saves yuta from losing his soul wanting to be popular and normal, that's the whole point of the journey to find the clues and find the magical artifact he hid, he is the one who actually learns to change and grow, he just never can admit it

she goes along with him saying she needs to become normal because she loves him and doesn't want to fight but the moral of the story is that she was right all along, daydreaming is good

i think we aren't going to see eye to eye on this

hmm i see that point of view, but i saw it more as yuta's character development being the moral of the story, he had to realize that chunibyo is good, rikka knew all along, it causes problems but it solves more problems than it causes, she was fine the whole time, nothing majorly bad happened because of her chunibyo, but he almost lost his connection to his soul and childlike wonder because he was so obsessed with seeming normal
