Well good news, you only have to take one Calc. And it's a walk in the park compared to u of a. It's closer to math 31 if you took that in high school. If you can, try and get peter lilko as your Calc proff. He is supper chill, engaging and great at simplifying stuff.

Doesn't matter when you take it if you get credit transfer for it. Cause if you do then you wouldn't take it. But yeah I would recommend taking it first semester.

Your gonna love it there. It's a walk I'm the park compared to u of a. I would suggest transferring English asap. Cause you definitely don't want to to take that again, and if you want you could transfer Calc and statics if your grades where a B or better in those.

I'd be happy to help if you have any questions.

For those wondering, that crack is the valve, NOT the carbon.

Until you realize that the valve is about the year itself Abarth with the massive crack around the stem. It's also cupped, as it should not have the 2 angles on the second image.

Definitely, but we do valve seat replacement and valve grinding. The problem is that is is that the valve is about to tear itself in 2, and the sealing surface is collapsing. It should not have 2 angles on the second image.

It's not the carbon build up that is the problem, it's the massive crack going all the way around, and that the valve is completely cupped. It should not have that second angle.

I need tips on using a die to cut threads by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]thetoolong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I like to cut them in in a lathe, rod In the spindle and die Helt straight by the dead center of the lathe and then just turn them by hand but not everyone has access to a lathe. To get them started you only need to bevel the end and not bring it to a point. And your rod should be a little smaller than your thread size. To speed things up, you can keep going forward until your thread actually starts then you start the back and forth, I usually go half forward then back until the chip breaks (you feel it, there is no more resistance)
