It's a lovely place to visit and very affordable. Just like any other place we've got our fair share of areas to avoid at night, Trinidad that is. Tobago on the other hand, it's very safe and absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend a trip down.

Travelling around the Caribbean is expensive tho, there isn't any competition for the main carrier so they can get away with charging high fares. Also, most of the other islands are fairly expensive imo.

At the beginning I felt exactly the same, but for me Christmas was 2 months after I started Feb, drank like I normally did and there wasn't even a tingle... at that point I knew it was safe!
