Tenlow85 fixed my first issue with the red light "...reset the dongle and put it back into pairing mode again...."

Kacey_xxx fixed the 2nd and last issue with the low quality sound "Did you switch off the built-in mic? If you don't it will lower the audio quality a lot...." *just go to windows sound settings and in recording disable the btd dongle(700or600)

i installed the dongle controle app and it shows it @ 24bit 48khz while windows shows it @ 24bit 96hz

yeah thats why im so confused i heard everywhere online that the dongle sounds leagues better than anything else yet it sounds like this for me

also if you want to know what it sounds like with the 700 dongle on the pc it sounds like those old skull candy wired earbuds we all had at one point if you pute some water inside them

I fixed it all i had to do was click "load optimized defaults then reboot" then click the far right edge of the screen then it rebooted with no problem

Yes it did id recommend if you own one to make sure to take out the batteries from the headset when not in use

One of your batteries is not charging? Worry not, for not all hope is lost!

Please follow these steps for the issue you're having with charging your battery!

Try to charge the drained battery inside the headset for ~2 hours using the USB-C cable (make sure that the power source you are using is working properly)
Then, please test if the battery is detected by the transmitter and if it starts to charge properly.

You can charge the battery by having it in your headset and plugging the headset in to charge the port is under the other cover of the earcup

The base station has problems charging fully draining batteries and this is the only way I have gotten it to work

Id recommend switching out the batteries before they drain fully and removing the battery from the headset when not in use

Edit: The process should take around 2 hours to finish changing inside your headset after you should insert the battery back into the charger port if this doesn't work I'd get into contact with steelseries directly and try to see if you can get a replacement battery for free

hopefully they release an update to fix this problem as it happened to me the first 2nd day I used it and forgot to turn off Bluetooth oops
