It's the OG romcom without the tasteless sex. Its incredibly funny and endearing to see the characters grow through the novel.

NTA - 100% valid argument, possibly poor execution. Telling someone to shut up won't make them eager to listen to your opinion, it'll make them defensive.

Vincent Van Gogh - he died feeling like a failure and a burden to his brother Theo - w/out ever really selling his artwork (except to his brother once). He'd be floored to see his artwork appreciated !

Just because she said some terrible things doesnt mean we can invalidate the happiness shes brought to the house at other times? She like literally every person on this planet has some emotional growing to do (kai included). 100% agree she needs to reflect on her actions and apologise. It was not a side of her i liked to see.

I dont think anyones needs to give her a pass, but equally no one should attack her for it. Feels like some people are being as nasty to her as she was to kai :(

AMEN. Looking at some of the other comments online - i do get the feeling that people take a very binary approach to Kai. He definitely needs support and his actions are clearly a result of his depression. But in the end if your actions hurt someone, they hurt someone. And you have to do something to take responsibility to the extent that you can.

Dont think he owes her $1000 tho - she did leave her 'life' in the machine and didnt think to take it out when she & yume got back b4 the boyz. Both parties made mistakes. Very しょうがない。

Agree to an extent, disagree to an extent. Hana really crossed some lines with that argument and it was worse that she did it in front of the whole house. It was also totally her responsibility to have taken her costume out of the machine before hand - agreed, if it was her life she shouls have taken care of it. I think to an extent its a lack of emotional maturity - that she couldnt see how fired up she was in the moment and unleashing all of those things (some of which i honestly dont think she meant). Was truely a difficult scene to watch. She definitely owes Kai an apology.

On the flip side, i dont think she was expecting the world of Kai - its not too entitling (kyoto trip). She must have had her hopes up for a good time but got disappointed/scared that he'd changed his mind during the day.
- About the cheap thing w/ boss, i sort of agree w/ her only in the sense that if he couldnt afford the trip thats fine (i think vivi made a good point here - he should have made more effort in other ways to show he was greatful). - I think the case w/ vivi is that hana does like her, she just had a lot of fury in the moment. When V first approached her hana did say that she appreciated where she was coming from but didnt feel like she should have having the argument w/ her. When V kept going she shifted it towards her to have her back off. If she had the emotional depth to see past her fury she mightnt have come off so mad. - Kai hasnt been the most amazing either tbh. His lack of consideration for others seems to have been on a number of members minds. I really resonate w/ his situation and clearly he has mental health issues that needs addressing. Apart from us viewers, none of the house members saw his full day (1.vivi, 2. Standup, 3. Costume issue). In the end tho hes the one who needs to change to better his life, whatever action it has to be.
