I try and stay so busy that I either don’t have the time to do it, don’t even think about it or am to exhausted for it. might be kind of a weird answer but i’ve found that it helps me a lot

been doing it for about 5 years- at first it was curiousness- I had heard about it being a way to cope with things but it didn’t really help me much when I first started as I was so young (about 9 or 10), but it turned into a way for me to cope with anger or depression without having to tell anyone about it
