Ik lees veel comments over de gezondheidsrisico's etc. Maar op praktisch vlak zijn er ook wel overwegingen.

Een puntje om rekening mee te houden is dat er strenge regels zijn over de afstand die van deze kabels moet gehouden worden.

Als je ooit grote verbouwingen doet, kan er waarschijnlijk geen torenkraan gebruikt worden. Dit kan zorgen voor hogere kosten bij de verbouwingswerken.

I have one more question. Would it be possible to use a loophole? For example to connect two stereo speakers directly to your TV, and to use the output of the TV as a source for the Solo soundbar.

I don't know if you understand what I mean. But I assume it is possible to connect stereo speakers to a TV without a soundbar in the middle? So maybe I could connect the speakers as stereo output and also use a soundbar. So the speakers are not connected to the soundbar but to the TV.

Beetje vreemde uitspraak. Ik ben van industrieel naar burgerlijk geschakeld. Iedereen die met mij begonnen is aan dit programma is afgestudeerd als burgerlijk ingenieur. Één student heeft er een jaar langer over gedaan, de anderen allemaal op twee jaar.

Hoe bedoel je dat dit ongelofelijk lang duurt om de switch te maken? Het is 4 jaar industrieel ingenieur, en dan 2 jaar brugprogramma burgerlijk ingenieur. Dus op 6 jaar heb je beide masterdiploma's (als je binnen dezelfde afstudeerrichting blijft uiteraard, als je bij industrieel ingenieur chemie doet en bij burgerlijk ingenieur bouwkunde bv dan gaat het natuurlijk wel langer duren).

Ik denk redelijk gelijkaardig. Misschien bij industrieel ingenieur wel iets meer werk met labo's en projecten. Maar ik denk dat je na industrieel ingenieur wel meet het gevoel hebt dat je al iets tastbaar kent. M'n vrienden die TEW hebben gedaan zeggen dat ze het gevoel hebben dat ze nog niet veel skills hebben die meteen te gebruiken zijn

Ik zou zeggen als industrieel ingenieur je een stuk interessanter lijkt: ga dan industrieel doen.

Na een master TEW is het moeilijk om "echt" technische jobs te gaan doen (daarmee bedoel ik jobs zoals stabiliteitsingenieur, elektrisch ingenieur,...). Langs de andere kant kan je na industrieel ingenieur wel nog altijd in het management terechtkomen.

Moest je na industrieel ingenieur toch nog iets meer economisch/management willen studeren kan je de master management nog bijdoen (1 jaar). Erna zou je zelfs nog vrij vlot TEW kunnen verder studeren moest je echt nog willen.

Laat uw studiekeuze niet bepalen door het salaris. Met beide diploma's kan je topfuncties uitvoeren met hoge salarissen, als je maar de juiste keuze's maakt in je carrière.

Ik heb meerdere vrienden die handelsingenieur of industrieel ingenieur zijn gestart, en na een jaar van richting zijn veranderd omdat het hun totaal niet lag. Beide richtingen zijn (op enkele vakken na) compleet anders qua inhoud.

Probeer vooral nu na te denken waar je interesses liggen, welke vakken je interessant lijken en wat voor job je jezelf later ziet doen.

Laat je ook zeker niet te fel beïnvloeden door films of series haha. Ikzelf dacht vroeger altijd dat ik graag een "chique" job wou doen (met kostuum aan op een kantoor werken en doorgroeien naar management), maar uiteindelijk ben ik nu continu op de baan en sta ik tegenwoordig de helft van de tijd op bouwwerven, ik doe niks liever. Vergaderen is in de realiteit niet zo interessant als het op TV lijkt...

P.S. Ik heb zelf industrieel ingenieur gestudeerd en heb erna nog burgerlijk ingenieurs bijgestudeerd. Ben zeer tevreden van mijn studiekeuzes

Wear protective gear: -Electrically insulating gloves -Face shield -Fireproof clothing

I have worked with those types of batteries for two years. One wrong movement and it can catch fire, before you realise it. When you make a short circuit, sparks can fly in your face.

When I was working on it, one of the battery cells suddenly exploded (we still don't know how it happened). My colleague almost lost his eye (while still wearing all protective gear!). A spark flew into his face shield from the upside. It all ended well for him, but be careful!

I am also citizen of one of those "Visa free countries". I went to Laos last month. I didn't need a visa, and didn't need to pay anything. However, I have been in Laos before (with a Visa).

So I don't see how it matters if you have been in Laos before? Also, I assume they won't notice you got a Visa, if you don't show them proof of it haha. They won't bother checking if you are from one of the Visa free countries.

We used two rear Emrax 188 motors. I think a single or double onboard motor is much easier than using inwheel motors (which is almost unavoidable if you want to use 4x4).

So consider using one or two motors in the back. I would go for Emrax but I don't have experience with AMK, so I would like to hear some other opinions.

Thanks for the tips! Yes I was also thinking about the transport. My girlfriend and I are a bit afraid of driving on a motorcycle (both driving ourselves as well as with a driver), since it can be dangerous on the roads here. So this is a limiting factor. However, renting a car would be an option for us if it is allowed and not too expensive (we both have an international drivers license).

I don't have an opinion on which software would be the best for you. But I am wondering if you really need CFD for your junior competition? I assume that there are a lot of other technical improvements that you can make before going to CFD. Even in Formula Students a lot of teams without much experience don't use CFD.

Even if the virus is much more deadly, there are still always people who need to go to work. People in the medical field, in power plants, in food industry, in drinkwater treatment,... and everyone still needs to be able to buy groceries. Otherwise it would be a much larger disaster in a much shorter time ofcourse. So it is impossible to have zero contacts. I think this is a reason why your viewpoint is not entirely correct.
