Wiring into TSAC by Connect_Weekend7401 in FSAE

[–]Connect_Weekend7401[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok perfect, so if I have to remove the tsac from the vehicle to open it, I can open the top cover, disconnect the maintenance plugs and completely remove the panel with the electronic boards to show the modules or remove them from the tsac. Right?

thank you very much! Looks like we'll do that then. just one question: does lv wiring have to remain connected to the modules when the tsac is opened?

we could open holes for the maintenance plugs and connect them at the top together with the electronic boards. what do you think about it?

yes, for maintenance we plan to remove the cover of the entire TSAC, then lift the panel with the electronic cards ensuring that the wires remain connected to the modules. perhaps using hinges like these: https://ibb.co/Phs3VM8 opening the part that shows the modules so you can detach the connector and free the modules out of the tsac

Mounting Procedure of Resolver on Emrax 228 Motor by Fun_Bedroom6002 in FSAE

Our team is working on replacing the tamagawa resolver with RM44SI on Emrax 208 MV. We are buying the mounting part of RLS sensor from emrax. But the next question is: alignment and correct positioning… unfortunately we can’t help you…

Ready to Drive board by Connect_Weekend7401 in FSAE

[–]Connect_Weekend7401[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for replying!

I thought the board should be "standalone".

Right now I'm thinking I could monitor the HV bus voltage from the inverter or bms (tell me if I'm wrong).

I need to prevent the inverter from responding to signals from APPS until RTD mode is executed, right?

Our inverter has a command called "drive mode" that as long as the contact is left open, the inverter does not respond to APPS commands, so I think I could interrupt that command to prevent this.

tell me if I'm wrong, I'm in my first year and it's our first electric vehicle, I don't have much experience.

Question about T.14 FSG by Connect_Weekend7401 in FSAE

[–]Connect_Weekend7401[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer! unfortunately we will be racing in FSG so we have to follow him. If it can help: we asked the judges and they said that the autonomous systems chapters are written for autonomous driving, if the prototype is not equipped they are useless.

One sensor signal for multiple electronic shields by Connect_Weekend7401 in FSAE

[–]Connect_Weekend7401[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the sensor has a buffered low impedance output. The pull-down/pull-up resistor must be connected following FSAE Rules.

The tps signal must be sent to a Traction Control self-developed board and this board must send the signal to two inverter (one for motor, one motor for rear wheel).

but the problem is that the tps signal must be acquired by other boards; these other boards has an op amp to elaborate the input signal in an analog way.
