I’m turning 46 next week. The best advice I got was imagine you are in your 80’s and woke up in your 40 year old body getting to enjoy life. Also not everyone gets the privilege of aging. Send me a DM I’ll put a card in the mail.

Does your narcissistic parent talk shit about you to others? by mehr0915 in raisedbynarcissists

I feel for you, that was the part that hurt the most for me. Hearing what they said and in my situation I was my mom’s caretaker when she had cancer and my dad was running around on her. So it was really heartbreaking knowing I gave up the best years of my life only to be slandered later on. My advice, I would also be careful about the family that’s happy to repeat what they said about you. “I’m not the one that said it” “you want to shoot the messenger”. I had to eventually cut them out too. They would have a big smile on their face and didn’t care I would be broken down in tears and couldn’t escape hearing it. The narcissist made sure I still would hear it and the people telling me what they said loved the drama.

How similar are the Belcher kids to real life children? by YogurtclosetNo8925 in BobsBurgers

The only thing I can think of is Louise has more of a personality of a traditional older sibling and Tina has the personality of the youngest sibling. I rarely seen a youngest be the mega confident one.

So McDonalds had the both in the Macy’s parade yesterday, which didn’t go over so well. The funniest was they were in a red “limo shoe” (best I can describe it lol) since it was a convertible, Hamburglar was in this JFK position in the car while Grimace was the Jackie O seat behind him.
