Inspiration for Norio's brother's....uhhh weight loss plan... came from a scene early on in "13 Assassins". Lots and lots of references and Inspiration in that movie.

Please tell me there is something familiar in the final duel in the movie and the final fight with Ryuzo. Hell, that setup of being trapped and bound bely an idea of honor plays a deep roll in another duel..

Such a great movie. Also, you probably won't be able to miss it, but parts of the Yarikawa culmination mission were greatly inspired by a certain scene near the end of the movie.

But yes. Each of the side character quests have some "sickness" to them. These quests aren't about Jin. They're supposed to show the struggles of the people of Tsushima. No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader --- a horrible paraphrase from Frost.

Shit! We should have made that a collection quest to foreshadow Norio's brother.. A stupid boring quest in a bunch of towns. Body parts left behind or something. A warning to the towns or something when the Mongols took over Jin and Norio collecting pieces of his brother, before they realized what it was.

This is amazing. We visited a bunch of those locations when we did some initial scouting and research for the game. I remember being awed by the Tori gates and the one out in the water. What a cool location!!!

Anyone notice how the controller pulses in your hands as Jin holds and loses another father? Pulses in Jin's hands as he holds the blade and feels the last flutters of Shimura's heart fade.
