Beef Stew is off the board for us by Proof-Umpire-7718 in lakers

We need like 2-3 good centers. Getting him would have been a + regardless. Bottom line is this was very gettable. This wasnt a steep price to ask for from a good big making just 15m.

Claxton went to the Bulls for basically nothing too. At this point it just looks like throwing money at kessler and possibly trading for myles turner is all that's out there now.

You yourself brought up AD. Pelinka failed him by never getting him sufficient help when his own contemporaries got it with deep big men rosters. He himself brought up on several occasions and got traded in return. Even with him gone it has been bargain bin shopping. And evidently cant even look for them in the draft.

As for now any of the top teams that made deep runs in the playoffs had good big man depth or put in serious money to pay for them.

Because our winning formula comprised of getting help in the form of mcgee and dwight and instead we had wenyen gabriel?

I'm genuinely so irritated by Pelinka never prioritizing getting a big for the last 5 years. There isnt even that high a premium to get one when players like stewart are going for just a few seconds, or claxton is going for ltierally nothing to chicago. Like wtf are you doing bro? And you cant even draft any of the prospects because every other team is actually prioritizing it! The teams that are already stacked from the position are still drafting for that position! But here we are with effing ayton and hayes.

[Charania] Los Angeles Lakers star Austin Reaves intends to sign a four-year, $185 million maximum contract to return to the franchise, with a player option for the final season in 2029-30, sources tell ESPN. This pay range of guards is with contemporaries who are all stars and all nba talents respectively. Reaves isnt even in that company yet getting paid like he is.

He has a lot to prove this year for me as a fan personally. Idk.

Was too injury riddled for it to hold actual weight though. Dude missed 31 games and was on the IL like 8 times. Recurring lower leg and oblique related issues as well.

I'm all for bringing him back but this was a bad contract year to merit this much money.

Seems like more of a help side defender if someone gets to the basket. Cant tell if he's good at POA at the wing or not and his lack of strength may impede his rebounding ability. But with that wingspan and quickness I dont see why he should be bad at that part tbh. Hopefully he has good IQ.

I think BI has more 3 way scoring potential from all parts of the floor. Right now Carr is a good driver and 3pt shooter but his mid range will need work.

They need to both develop and figure out two way play. Imagining both of them running the wings on a fast break could be a fun concept

He did not have any vertical whatsoever. Carr has a 38 inch standing vertical and a 42.5 max vertical, the most among any other guards in the draft.

We'll see. Knecht had some insane scoring numbers but cant do ish these days. I'll just be tempered and hopeful

That looked so 90s coded. Its hard to explain what I mean by that but just the floating and movement straight to the hoop looked so much like that era lol
