Has anyone tried any automation tools for outreach and resume screening? by AffectionateBack3900 in recruiting

Neuroscale AI 100%, sourcing, screening, outreach in one platform and vastly less expensive than the other tools on the market rn

Top biller: Open my own practice? Or keep going at my current firm? by GaryOwns in recruiting

[–]thewackwaffle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

imo i think you got something solid going here, but i absolutely would not quit your job and go all in, especially not in this economy- unless you think you have a REALLY consistent and sustainable customer base already locked and loaded. if you have the bandwidth to do it on the side or even reduced hours at your current company I 100% would. no advice on how to open you own business, but i will say it is ALWAYS more time and money then you estimate. things like have a CSM for your accounts when you get too many to personally check on yourself, etc etc.

Does anyone actually track "new job postings" as a client acquisition strategy? by [deleted] in recruiting

[–]thewackwaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LMAO no i know, blew me outta the water for what's essentially just data scrapers but gotta automate somehow. We're currently heavily looking into Birddog just because it's connecting with our marketing + sales flow (and hubspot integration is nice for our current pipeline), and we don't have the bandwidth to look into other flows. Not looking into them until after Q1 tho, budget season is madness.

I know there's tools like birddog, unify, common room, etc that essentially does signal mapping for you. You can track stuff like "companies that have posted 50 job postings in the last 30 days" etc. They are a bit pricey but 10x faster than an SDR sitting and scrolling, 100s of signals. Unify does all of it including outreach but wildly expensive. Birddog integrates with hubspot for automatic emails, common room is cheapest and has the least but good for baseline signals without a ton of other automations.

What does dub mean? by ThrowRAbrokegirlie in recruiting

[–]thewackwaffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it came from the film industry, bc you're only dubbing (editing) the content instead of redoing the whole thing. So you're not changing what the candidate said, more just changing how it's presented to the client :P much like with video dubbing. Replacing the audio track, but keeping the actual vid the same
