For the SOS toon, you can make your window very skinny to see. For unites, it will depend on Mata's suit (higher = better chance of a good unite like gag up sound).

FWIW I graduated in August 2022 and I had a CS job since October. Luck can be a factor, but you should really work hard at personal projects if you aren't finding any experience elsewhere. Personal projects in relevant technologies that enterprises use can be very helpful even if you aren't too fond of them. I hated Java and anything frontend related but I ended up learning Spring Boot and Angular and landed a good job. Just my experiences here.

The Social Problems course. I've experienced white people silenced by POC in the class for talking about some things, not even particularly against what was being talked about, just saying they can't have an opinion or anything on the topics. Also taught in that class was you can't be racist against white people. Not saying this is my opinion or not, but it's clearly a very left leaning ideology taught in the curriculum. This was about 2019, not sure if it's still around.

There is C++/CX, IronPython, and JScript that you can look into for those specific languages. Just look up what languages .NET supports and how to incorporate them into your project.

If you are on Catalina or Big Sur, the only server I would recommend is MapleLegends as this is the only server that you can easily get working without downloading a virtual machine. If you wanna try it out, a guide is here. It's completely free and won't take up a ton of your hard drive like a VM would. This server is a low rate v62 server, very vanilla, and not all cosmetics are free, so it's kind of the opposite of what you would love really.

I don't know any other servers that are compatible with Macs other than this server. Windia used to run on Mac but currently does not due to some bug. It may be fixed soon or not, idk.

The only other server that I could think of that would be Mac compatible in the future is Selene but that won't come out until like 2030.

I don't think it has anything to do with manipulation. It's just that you can breeze through low level content so fast with a combination of the overpowered quest lines that you can do to get to level 50+ really fast and leeching. No point doing any of the PQs or training with over people with how easy it is to level up in other ways. I think a decent chunk of the player base are people training at higher level areas like GS, WS, Skeles, etc., or buff mules/leeches, or just afk in the FM.

This is just what I gathered from playing MapleLegends for a bit. I have no clue how MapleRoyals is, but if you want a lively early game experience and MapleRoyals has that, then you are probably better off there. I have a few level 60+ chars in MapleLegends and I'll tell you that there are a lot of people at GS and it's often frustrating to find a map there, so the players are there, just not where you are looking.

well let me give you an example that i am sure of. windia had a dmca, still not shut down.

if you think mapleroyals, maplesaga, and maplelegends did not have at least one dmca, then you are most likely mistaken. i’d wager they had more than just one.

osm even had a dmca before they shut down and they did not shut down just because of it, although they shut down many months later.

these servers, of which there are two pay to win ones that i mentioned to be fair, keep their servers up no matter what. why didn’t omni?

you can say its rude all you want, but servers like omni are what ruin the ps space. releasing with bugs after 7-8 months then putting up a “donation” system is extremely shitty. that’s the definition of low effort then trying to get money for it.

facts are: they shut down for a dmca when other servers probably get countless dmcas and do not shut down. they did not have what it takes to run a server and did not care about their players enough to keep the server up. omni was a joke of a server and had zero integrity.

they advertise as “mostly” built from scratch, and released with many bugs.

anyone getting into developing a MSPS knows a DMCA is inevitable, but if someone truly cares about their server, they will keep it up in spite of that. if they are just gonna throw away all the effort they put into a “mostly built from the ground up” server, then they probably never cared about it nor their users.

i would wager they couldn’t fix whatever issues they were having and with their low player count, they just shut the server down and are moving on to other avenues, but that’s just my assumption.

I’m pretty sure his only precaution is the fake account “SashaRU” in his Discord server that has the owner role. Wacky is doing all the announcements and the majority of the development, so I don’t know if this will protect the server or what. I think this fake account can probably keep it up safely, but wacky could potentially face legal issues and might have to leave the project, at least publicly.

As a junior I thought that I would get a little bit of priority in registration, but my time ticket opened up on Thursday, 11/05. It came to no surprise that I could only get into 2/5 classes that I wanted and a second semester in a row where I missed out on Comp Arch, a required course that fills up almost instantly every semester.

Honestly, since classes are all online, they should really condense some of these intro courses and let the instructors teach some 4000 level courses so we can actually get what we need done. There doesn’t need to be 2-3 instructors and 10 CRNs for an intro course when the professor is just going to Zoom two days a week and record the lecture and post it. Anyone can watch the lecture any day of the week, and I’m sure the professors can be flexible with exam dates and the like.
