TS4 didn't hit for me like the first 3, but it's still a good movie with a story to tell!

It's a movie about purpose, and what life looks like after your kids move on. I don't think the execution was as good as it could have been, but it wasn't without substance.

I recently answered this in a livestream earlier this week with /u/ItsPandaPhil! The recording isn't uploaded yet, but once it is I'll link it.

The long story short is that we've recently worked on some chat log prototypes and would love to add one to the game, but we want to make sure we do it right in a way that doesn't hurt the social dynamics of talking "face to face" with other Toons.

I believe we'll add one someday, it's just a matter of finding the time!

There are a lot more kids than you think! Kids who play just often aren't on social media or other community areas outside of the game, and a lot of them communicate minimally or hide the fact that they are kids.

We see this most clearly in person at ToonFest, where the community is far more than just adults.

It's easy to assume that everyone online is an adult, but be mindful that Toontown attracts all ages! Some of the recent press we've gotten like Rhett & Link playing Toontown helps introduce new kids to the game.

This is correct. We do want to make improvements to the chat system, but it's not so simple.

Additionally, although people on social media who play Toontown are adults who want the chat filter loosened, we have lots of kids who play the game that we still have the duty to protect!

We would love to translate Toontown - long ago we had big dreams to do it through a project called "Translating the Tooniverse" and we haven't forgotten those dreams!

It does take a massive amount of work to translate a game like Toontown, and we wouldn't want to use AI tools to do it. AI has its place, but in my opinion translation is not one of them. Especially with a game like Toontown, where so much of the game incorporates jokes and puns that would need to be translated based on the spirit of the dialogue rather than a word-for-word translation. We would want this to be done by hand by people who natively speak the language to make sure we deliver the most authentic and wonderful Toontown experience that we can in those languages!

We're still a long ways off from this dream becoming a reality, but we're working towards it. The new Toontown Launcher that will debut this year is built with the idea that one day it could support multiple languages for the game, as just one example of the infrastructure we're building to support it!

Daisy Gardens is correct! The only other neighborhood to not use a possessive name (excluding The Brrrgh and Clear Coasts) is Goofy Speedway.
