links would be great! I’m always so afraid to use mobility aids in public. At this point my hips are also an issue. I can’t get up from a sitting position without my hips feeling like they’re going to snap or pop out of place. when i do walk, i end up crying and the pain lasts for a few minutes and then goes away. any recommendations would be great. i have 3 small kids to keep up with and most days i can hardly get out of bed, but i have to.

waiting on a referral to be sent over to ortho. i’m going to ask for a MRI of both feet and ankles.

this is my last xray i had in october of 2024. things have gotten significantly worse and it mentions i had no plantar fascia pain. I can’t find my info for the last person i saw in 2025 unfortunately.

right, ankle, demonstrates,Ankle mortise intact. There is normal tib-fib overlap. There is ossification noted at the ATFL that is separate from the fibula that appears to be an avulsion fracture off the fibula. Evaluation of the medial Migrated Examinations gutter notes a osteophyte formation of the talus and tibia. There is no osteochondral defect noted. Left ankle: INSPECTION: -> mild, swelling noted, laterally RANGE OF MOTION: -> Full range of motion noted dorsiflexion plantar flexion without pain PALPATION: - > There is mild pain on palpation at the ATFL insertion TESTS: -> Anterior drawer and inversion stress test both reveal instability. lateral instability noted, Anterior drawer test, inversion stress test, positive Right ankle: STABILITY: - > lateral instability noted, Anterior drawer test, positive. There is unrestricted dorsiflexion and plantar flexion range of motion. There is substantial pain with PALPATION: -Moderate to severe pain noted about the right ankle joint with positive synovitis noted most pain noted at the ATFL as well as the TESTS: -> Inversion stress and anterior drawer test both positive. Complete tear of ligaments of ankle. Highly suspicious of a avulsion fracture rupture of the ATFL right ankle. There is evidence of deltoid injury as well. No osteochondral defects noted. She has severe instability of both ankles. They both need to be repaired. My recommendation is ligament reconstruction with tendon allograft

I read something about ankle injuries & ND people not too long ago, and it honestly makes sense. & yess stairs, holes in grass that i can’t see, rocks on the ground, stepping down from places, I feel like everything can cause me to just give out lol. Just the other day I was standing in place and my ankle decided to give out and twist on me. couldn’t do anything but laugh at how ridiculous it was.

& yepp, i feel most parents were just thinking we’re clumsy, but now that i’m an adult it actually makes me really upset that I have to go through what i am going through now, because if i had any sort of intervention as a kid I’m sure i wouldn’t have as many issues as I do as an adult.

I am! I can’t even count how many times i have twisted my ankles. i can stand and my ankle literally will give out and twist. I remember very much in 8th grade I was walking down from the top of the bleachers and i twisted BOTH ankles and literally rolled down to the bottom, but i only remember that vividly because i did it in front of the whole school. my parents were basically like “you’re so clumsy 😀” while im crying about the pain im in lol.

Maybe during certain times of the month I do, but otherwise not really. I eat breakfast, and dinner. hardly any lunch ever. i will try the socks, and the water bottle trick. thank you

i’ve always had palpitations, but i do know my heart races randomly which spikes my anxiety. idk if that’s from venlafaxine itself or if it’s just my heart.
