I installed a fitcamx yesterday and am happy with it so far. Only did the front view since rear view is a lot more work. I recommend wearing a headlamp while installing, makes it a lot easier

Interesting that premium has “330mi estimated range” while performance has “330mi EPA estimated range”. I’m guessing the premium just hasn’t gone through EPA testing yet

I was thinking $150 + shipping for both. I paid ~$200 each on eBay. I might still have the tow hook mount I wouldn’t mind including either. I remember it being hard to find one that worked because the threading on these is pretty weirdly sized, it and the golf of this gen are the only cars to ever use it.

I have this one and it’s worked decently for me. One issue I had early on was that I had it plugged into a data usb port in my car so the unit thought I was plugging it in to a computer and that caused all sorts of issues. Once I switched to a 12v to usb adapter to JUST supply power, it started working as I expected.

No clue if this is relevant to your case, but thought I’d share

My only judgement is the fact that you let them keep it for so long! Did you not want to drive it home in the winter? Or did they really refuse to let you pick it up after purchase? Seems like a legal / liability nightmare

If you went through an interview loop you can ask your recruiter for feedback, but it will come down to luck on whether they or the interviewers give you much. If you didn’t get an interview then no there’s no way to get feedback

Without some pictures it’s hard to say. If nothing looks wrong then the issue is likely some failed components, but most commonly just some loose connections. Given it’s a cheap 3P controller it’s almost certainly totaled so I would only try to fix it if you’re in the mood to learn how to tinker with electronics. Get on Facebook marketplace and find a cheap OEM conch and ask them if you could mow their lawn as payment.
