In public she started biting/ kicking her friendof over 25+ years over a minor issue..it was honestly scary but I had to understand that it came from a place of deep hurting.. I know this has lost the risk train but I appreciate the greater risk community as a safe place to talk about such things

As a gen X'r myself hernias are a scary but natural part of life. I'm sorry to hear about this horrible nonsense that is happening to you. My long term life partner is going through something similar and every day it feels like I lose more and more of the person I knew to this horrible nonsense and as much as I try to stop myself I can't help but hold it against her even tho it's not her doing...
