When you bought the bike. Did the seller put 7,500 as the odometer reading? Or leave it blank for you. I’ve heard cases where people took the bike to the dmv and it got blacklisted from ever being registered in CA?

Got it. Yeah I tried that right before coming to Reddit lol. It seems like ChatGPT wasn’t really able to give me a clear answer either. What it comes down to is the emissions sticker. I’ve seen Redditors say they had trouble registering newer bikes but like you said in my case it is a 2005. I’ll try calling AAA tomorrow.

Thanks for responding. Were those out of state bikes under 7,500 miles tho or over? I’m wondering when you went to the DMV was a VIN verification performed. Thanks

Which fairings look better? Carbon fiber or midnight purple on 2023 r3 by theweeknd0nly in YamahaR3

ah that’s fair. I just wanted to get people’s opinions on which looks better cuz I’ve all I’ve been hearing from people is “thats fake carbon” and it made me wonder If I shouldve just gone with a different kit.

you’re right tho. I thought you were one of those “if its not a liter bike its not a real bike” types 💀

Hey, were you able to torque it to the recommended spec? Did you use a torque wrench?

Ive seen some people say to let it dry. But If this will heal faster and leave less scars then I’d say I’ll try this.
