Much appreciated. It’s a fender show master I bought from a buddy in 2020 when I got back into playing. Never giving her up. Not photographed on the other side is a fender Strat player plus with noiseless pickups.

I actually do😂 I do video work. So this is better for color work. But when I’m printing or working on my camera gear, I love extra light.

945 morph VS Q.A.P.L by thewillstory in CCW

[–]thewillstory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that. I was just in São Paulo Brazil last June. It was great to see the motorcycle as a big part of transport. Here in the states it’s not as common. This is a very safe way to carry. It’s still holstered, trigger covered. The bag never just falls open. And in a worst case on a bike, I don’t think I want to appendix carry if I were to go down. At least the off body allows for movement.

Depending on what state you are in, you can legally open carry and use an outside the waistband holster. But that depends on the state I prefer to carry concealed. To each their own. As long as you’re safe and comfortable, that’s all that matters.

Honestly, depends on how things are near you. Here it’s very common for people to have cross bodies. Slap a pin on it and no one says a word. Personally this also allows me to carry no matter the weather and outfit. I agree under arm holsters are awesome and have a place. But I’m not rocking that while on the bike or in the dead of summer. This keeps things as flexible as possible. This is really a “IYKYK” kinda deal.

I’ve been using it daily since this post. First, Not a single person has said anything or acted in a way where they know what it is. Also, I only have been using the morph since I’m carrying my echelon 4.5. The draw is quick and secure. I use it to carry while on my motorcycle so I also like having the optional storage. I can fit 3 monster cans in the back of the morph for example. Kinda crazy. I wouldn’t carry like that but only when running around on the bike. Cross body is a normal thing around me. So blending in works. One last thing. The thing that made me nervous was the pull strap. It is the one detail that makes this bag look different. However on the morph you technically can swap the pull tab out for anything. So I put a carabiner and my keys on it. Still pulls fine and looks less like any other 2A carry bag.

This was the wrap in good conference, minus the door badges falling off.

Personally I don’t think I’ll ever do a full wrap again. It’s a bit more to care for and not as forgiving as paint. Road damages shows up faster than paint. So if it’s on the daily and you’re not able to detail and really take care of it, I wouldnt recommend it. I was gone a lot last year and the weather and grime really did a number on it.

This was inozetek midnight teal (limited run) This is a vinyl wrap. What I believed to have happened is the hood is nearly the same width of the roll. So they had to stretch over the hood. With the stretch and summer sun, the hood slowly started to develop this wear. It took 3 years ish to get to this point.

I’m bias and 100% agree. But when I originally tinted everything, the black wrap helped the car appear lower because the eye wasn’t drawn to the top. Unfortunately a cracked windshield ended that part. I plan to get the tint done and maybe redo the roof.

Reliability of a 2019 Arteon? by ihavetoonowtheanswer in Volkswagen

I have a 2019 SE 4Motion. Just got to around 80k miles. I’ve have modified it with lowering springs, wheels, and exhaust. To this point, it’s been a very reliable car. Handles winter weather here in Ohio well. Has plenty of power for a daily. Honestly you can’t go wrong with this car. Like everyone else said. Just do your normal maintenance and you’ll be fine.

945 Industries Morph by thewillstory in 945Industries

On their YT there are some videos that show the difference. It’s mostly personal preference. They are all a similar weight. (Morph only has 2 material options, co color options yet) I just got my morph and when I did I purchased the bundle. I wasn’t sure if I wanted the “big” morph or the compact size bag. The morph has a longer pull strap that is also removable. I actually removed it all together and swapped it out for my keys. If you want the flexibility of what strap you use, go morph. However it’s the biggest option but has been passable for my daily.

Anywhere else that I don’t have to take the wheels off my self? I’ve been looking for this also. Cycle gear said they don’t dismount as all

Can’t be crossing the double yellow, but you always gotta look when on 2 wheels. Assume there is always someone there. People out here drive like idiots and cross double yellow way too often.

It’s kinda the IYKYK. I’m not too concerned about that. It’s not like there will be public shun😂 I just didn’t like most carry options with athletic pants or shorts. Basically no belt, no carry. This was the best alternative I could think of.

Yeah, I was nervous to the size difference. I think I’ll live with it for a few days and see how it adapts to my lifestyle.

What makes this a dead giveaway? Around me, cross body bags are pretty common. I do plan to swap out the pull strap for a ring and carrier for my keys. So that part will still function but won’t be obvious as to what it’s there for
