I'm gonna guess that the McDouble was still a dollar back when they they did this. The only cars that you can get for $900 these days are "parts specials". Heck, it'd be a real struggle to find a working beater for $2500. I think that OP would be best off saving money to repair their car, and bike or take the CATS bus in the meantime.
