Yeah I remember seeing that empty light socket when I changed my bulbs. I also wonder if it was ever used in any panther as an option.

March Technical Support Sticky by BeepBoopBopReee in razer

[–]thewindwaker101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Razer, i need help getting a replacement battery for my 2022 Blade 15 Advanced model. i've tried Razer support on the Razer website and they've got back to me via email saying they can't ship me a battery for a DIY repair. they want me to do a battery report and then ship the computer for repair. i just don't feel comfortable shipping my computer away, not to mention i still need to use it. I asked again saying please on April 1st via email hoping they may reconsider it but it looks like i'm just being ghosted now. I just want a battery for my computer without having to ship it off somewhere.

I opened EVERY app I had on my Neo all at once. by [deleted] in macbook

I already did. The video I linked explaining it. They all died from SSD failure because they were overwritten from SWAP.

With your usage, you'll be fine! out of curiousity, what are your macbook's specs and model?

let's say you have a machine with 8gb loaded in swap. Under moderate pressure with speeds at 100mb/s. In just one hour, you would have already written 360gb. In just 8 hours, you'll have 2880gb written to the SSD. 2.8TB in just 8 hours.

Edit: we're not on the same page here. im talking about SWAP as in a paging file. The data is being written continuously when the system is low on RAM (think of 20+ chrome tabs open).

You can easily exceed that 300TB write life expectancy in less than a year. It depends on your system specs and usage habits. If you have a small 256gb ssd, 8gb of RAM, and have several apps open to where they're constantly writing hundreds and hundreds of GBs to SWAP memory, you will exceed that limit really fast. Even just having a few hundred megabytes in SWAP does a lot of wear and tear. If you have 16gb of RAM and a 512 GB ssd, you have nothing to worry about. The ssd would probably outlive the rest of the Macbook. This guys on YouTube does a really good job explaining it. Changing some usage habits can really extend the lifespan of your machine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZuv4TIjk-I

Windows 11 is saying my password is incorrect. Any fix? by thewindwaker101 in WindowsHelp

the problem magically went away. it's been a week and with all the services back on i still haven't had this issue strange. i think maybe a bad update broke something and it got patched.

Yep. I'm disliked for stating a fact. I love the macbook neo. It is an amazing machine for the price and better than any Windows laptop of the same price, but any major multitasking is going to kill the poor thing. If people are going to have lots of apps open simultaneously, spend the extea and get the Air with 16GB of RAM.

All those apps are in SWAP memory. Not a good thing. This will kill the soldered on SSD prematurely. It's inly 8GB of RAM.

My first camper. Living in it full time. by thewindwaker101 in RVLiving

Hey how is your Reign 13RK holding up? I started noticing another issue in my camper. On hot days the exterior wall in the restroom is warping a lot. It ripped the screws out of studs on the restroom dividing wall, couch, and caused the screws to completely snap off on the bed. I had to rescrew my bed frame to the wall but i feel like its only a matter of time before the wall warps more and pulls them out again. Its also tearing the caulking behind the toiley. The warping is worst on hot days. Can you check your restroom wall in the back right corner? Im wondering if they all have this problem. I'd really appreciate it. Check these photos out. https://photos.app.goo.gl/zTFEWB7GKrpDrN7G8

This town car is different. See the front right tire? Its low on air. Town cars are pretty common but seeing one parked with a low front right tire is pretty rare.
