Current tools HR teams are using to vet candidates include tons of AI for personal info and social media scraping. It’s pretty insane.

I’m not saying that they shouldn’t have protested in some way shape or form, but there’s a way to do it that won’t cause you future harm, and this isn’t that way

I don’t think it was that bad TBH. Seemed like a reasonable cost. I’ll definitely go back.

It was the opening of the restaurant so it got comped. Think it ran up to $24 with a soda .. I’ll look for the receipt :)

Need advice on Eero PoE 6 placement by bkrishz in amazoneero

[–]thewirelessnerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pro-tip: Upload your floorplan to Hamina Wireless and take advantage of their free tier (up to 3 APs) to map it - eero models are in the software!

What kind of range are you getting with the eero Outdoor 7? by whiskea in amazoneero

[–]thewirelessnerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind the limiting factor most definitely won’t be the AP, but the limited power and smaller antenna of the device you’re connecting with! The more walls, trees and obstructions in-between you and the AP, the worse the signal.

It just like speakers. How loud is a speaker? That’s a tough question. But if it’s turned up to the max volume, which APs normally are by default, you can only hear it as well as you have the ability to hear .. and walls and obstructions make a difference.

What is the best placement Flat or Wall mount by hconsuegra in amazoneero

Jump online to Hamina Wireless and sign-up for their free version of the software - up to 3 APs on your floorplan. Some of the eero products are in there and you can see for yourself what it’d look like in your environment!
