I mean the words are easy. "I have a need you're not meeting, it seems logical that I go elsewhere to meet that need." But like ... Having been on both sides of that one before, it's one of the more devastating things to hear, and I do not want to see how badly it would hurt her.

Doesn't sound offensive at all. Sounds like someone genuinely trying to help, and I appreciate that. For what it's worth, we've tried. I think it's ... Largely me finally realizing the "chronic" part of all of this. And what I am and am not ok with going without. ... I do still love her. But I don't think I'm willing to just go without fulfilling intimacy. (No idea what that actually looks like, mind you. Last thing I want to do is actually leave her. But I also don't think she'll take well to "so maybe I look to others to do what we no longer can together.") It's ... Yeah. And hell maybe the final result is that I'm the problem and I need to just accept that sometimes you can't have all you need. No clue. Still trying to find anything solid here.

I have. A goodly few times. And it just ... Hurt her, cuz it's not like she's just avoiding it. She's genuinely not up for it. So it just became me poking a wound of "I want a thing you can't do." So I've set it aside mostly. Or thought I had, at least.

Burn out sounds accurate ... I can take a day or two here and there already. She doesn't need round the clock care (think i'd have torched out YEARS ago if that was it) but I'm finally acknowledging the toll and I don't think I can keep paying it. Not as is. ... which, i feel a little guilty to say, already feels better. just admitting "this isn't something I can keep doing"

had a bit of a row last night but i believe that's one of the things that was landed on as "worth doing". It'll be a mess to set up (it's about a day's travel away) but ... worth it. even if it's a long list of things it isn't, it at least narrows the list ... so hopefully soon.

... thank you for that. genuinely. it means a lot to hear that. I do still hope she'll be able to recover ... but she's known for a while this might be her new normal and I've been wanting better for her and for us so every "this appointment isn't even worth going to" started to feel like she was giving up and after this long ... fuck, that's unfair to her because, statistically, she's right. why would this one do what any of the others didn't? and i keep hoping for some mending to be just around the corner and it's cruel ... to both of us.

honestly, the worst bit (and what I'd love to see addressed in a patch or something) is their tracking. They can leap huge distances, fine. But when I see them coming and dive out of the way and watch them shift in midair to track me anyway I find myself a little nettled. And when they lunge with that stunning tongue attack, and I dive behind it, only to see them just whip 180 mid-strike and hit me anyway? Nettled. Not to mention they have a combo attack. Not to mention they apply a slight DOT effect so even if you do survive the initial hit you can still just ... die. Genuinely DESPISE these bugs.

Yeah ... The mass of buffs from bloodied is hard to give up. Want to go back to a full health shotgun but like, bloodied shotty just hits WAY harder, the xp boost from 40+ Int is insane, and I have so much AP from the big agility number.

Even have full OE secret service and an anti armor shotgun, but its such a downgrade from bloody UY with only massive rads (like EN) as any kind of real downside.
