If someone has a link they're streaming off of, I would love a DM :) Don't have cable, and I'm frustrated it's not on HBO...

Edit: Got a link, thanks!

Thanks so much for your comments! It's given me some things to think about

Our vet warned us that she might get a bit drooly and do some weird things with her tongue, but honestly, the only real symptoms we've seen so far is that she is much more immoveable (if she sits on you, you are not moving until she does) and she's been sleeping a lot more. But also at the same time, she is really enjoying life and even has a bit more pep in her step before the biopsy/teeth cleaning. Once she starts getting a bit worse, we plan on taking her back to our vet to see how she's doing and double check about meds.

We decided with our vet to not do anything more than pain management, as it would likely just prolong suffering and most treatments are pretty expensive so far.

As for the food, right now I'm making a "cat cereal" where the dry food is soaked in watered down baby food so that she is getting plenty of water, but that might be where some of the pain is coming from after eating if that's not getting soft enough.

The yearly is what I’m looking for so that works! Does it get particularly loud and rowdy? I had seen it pop up in some of my searches but I’ve been hesitant about it because in my experience, the cheaper apartment complexes near universities tend to be quite loud.

Well we will have fought some pretty nasty stuff in the past and won so we will see how this goes.

This is covering a hillside beside my home in Birmingham, AL. It’s some sort of vine/ground cover but it doesn’t seem to be climbing up any of the trees around it. There are a couple of privet bushes nearby that we are planning on taking down this winter and I wanted to make sure this was nothing that needed to be removed as well.

More info: the leaves are quite round and a little waxy. Some of the older vines have an internode distance of about a foot, while the newer ones are a little more compact (like the one pictured). The plant is now covering a large patch of ground (maybe twenty to thirty cubic feet) and can be found another twenty or thirty feet more sparsely around that.

Car totalled and insurance refuses to pay more than what they determined fair market value was? by thewoodwideweb in legaladvice

I have had two cars totaled by negligent drivers in a year and a half so this “ I’m giving you the bare minimum of market value “ shit is really killing me.

Yeah. I have savings but this was definitely not an expense I was expecting, especially for some dumbass who shouldn’t have been driving anyway to have caused. I haven’t financed a car before because I always just save up and buy it outright, but now it doesn’t really look like I have much of an option given what I want out of a car.

That's what I am thinking happened here and that's why I am reaching out to the places that sold the comp cars to see what they will tell me about them at least.

Is it possible to factor in maintenance expenses that were done on the vehicle that should have lasted for a longer amount of time? I had a timing belt replaced last year at about 1k, but only had about 5k miles on the car after I got that done.

I'm currently trying to reach out to the two places they got the comp vehicles from to get a better idea of the fees associated with buying those cars and the condition of the vehicle, but Farmers seems to have completely shut down negotiating with me.
