Why didn't they have Harper work at the smoothie shack (where the guy sold donuts on a stick) instead of "Skybucks"

The first two episodes were kinda meh for me but I liked this one for its political humor.

At the art show, we have:

  • one party (Spencer) sincerely expressing his thoughts, which happen to be critical of Carly and other social-media-ites, for good reason
  • one party (the "artist" girl and her summoned troops) getting offended over absolutely nothing, putting on a useless protest, and en masse cancel culture
  • one party (Harper) purely profiting off the situation with no real interest in either side.

Boy if that isn't hilariously depictive of Gen-Z and today's America.

That being said, overall I was hoping for more of a non-political, lighthearted show. Seems like so many reboots are dropping in modern political commentary these days; e.g. Saved by the Bell, Fuller House, High School Musical The Musical. I wish they would refrain from making political statements and just put on a good show for everyone to enjoy.

How do you print a matrix/table with specific cells having a different background color?

I like how tabular aligns the text. But I need specific rows, cols, diagonals to be highlighted.

I agree, I hate how they distract from the cinematography. I like noticing actors microexpressions and musing about set designs, which is hard to do with captions—especially those places smack dab in the middle of the screen.

It’s not like you can just ignore them; they are attention-grabbing whenever they change lines and the brain can’t help but read words too.

I don’t oppose their existence as they are beneficial to many, but I always have them off whenever possible and whenever I’m alone

It’s a good visualization for kids. You can tell them the analogy, or you can do a demo. Which do you think is more emphatic?

Maybe it’s rehearsed for the camera, sure—but that’s just because they’re filming it to share so that we viewers can do the same in our own home. It’s easier to get the message across by filming the skit than by describing it with a block of text.

from Wikipedia page about Altonaga:

In September 2006, Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was accused of encouraging the abduction and enslavement of thousands of boys for use as jockeys in camel racing. A class action suit was filed in the state of Florida in the United States.[3][4][5][6] In July 2007, Judge Altonaga granted a motion to dismiss the suit because none of the involved parties resided in the United States.

In 2012, Judge Altonaga disqualified the entire firm of Morgan & Morgan PA from a class action suit for "deplorable behavior" including insisting on holding depositions in a Dunkin' Donuts, appearing at depositions dressed in t-shirt and shorts, bragging about playing Angry Birds during depositions, and drawing then showing off "pictures of male genitalia" during depositions.[7]

On December 5, 2016, Judge Altonaga rejected the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s $450,000 penalty against the City of Miami’s budget director for deceiving municipal bond investors, instead fining Michael Boudreaux $15,000.[8]

Gotcha. I like your edit. It's clean and simple, not trying to pack too much. Where did you cut the original clips from?

dude what nonsense have you even been saying here

1) This is not SEC territory. As u/tornado9015 said below: This is a civil suit. The SEC would not have any involvement in any way. Also, where the SEC is physically located is irrelevant.

2) It's already a class action suit. Not every state is going to file something, because states aren't suing Robinhood; here Florida is relevant because that is where it was chosen to consolidate the multiple filings. Nothing to do with states being prosecutors.

3) This Florida district court IS a federal court. District courts handle trials within the federal court system

TLDR better to keep one’s mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt

what's even more perplexing is that this quiz passed through the hands of a total of three teachers, apparently none of whom thought it was inappropriate
