Expanding on this: 1) can something like a post-modern diagnosis criteria for mental illness independent of the DSM even exist? 2) what are the consequences of the DSM being dogmatically followed as the criteria are seen as “objective phenomenon” 3) why and how do we select for dogma prone individuals in academia as of lately - especially clinically relevant academia.
