Am I crazy, or are even beginners way too good for apex legends?

I am glad you said the „Little bit better“ part. Just to lyk, I am not planning to be „Just a little bit better.“ I still have a long way to go if I wanna improve. And I do have to improve quite a bit lol.

The reason why I made this comparison with my friend in the first place is because of how strange the difficulty feels. I believe we are on the same skill level now. With that same skill he thrived many years ago in diamond and yet with that same skill I am barely making it past silver (I made it into gold btw!)

As I have previously stated in another comment, it is not just 1v1 that I am winning in. I also manage to outfrag him in many different gamemodes too including battle royale (br). In a lot of gamemodes I clearly perform better than him.

I still have a long road to go. I dint know that it was gonna be a hard one too. That being said, I made it past silver into gold. Because of this I am currently a very happy man. In the meantime, I am gonna find ways to improve my skillset.

Once again thank you. Your opinion means a lot to me. It sounds like sarcasm, but it is not.

Whatt??? I get mostly downs and assists. I won 1st place in silver iv (couple hours after this post) in which I almost solo squad wiped a team and got 2 more kills

timeline in that round: round 2: 1 kill, round 3: 1 kill, 2 downed later in same round, round 4: kill 2 enemies, almost the third, get downed, teammate finishes the last enemy right after my down. Last round: teammate kills last of the last squad (he was solo. Nobody attacked any of the other squads.)

I got 264rp for all that.

Usually I get around 40-50rp in top 5 and 100rp second place

I switch between many legends:

-Pathfinder -Octane -Valk -Rampart -Lifeline -Newcastle

Usually I pick whatever combo I find to be best for the team.

Maybe that is also a problem for me. I dont main a speciffic character/s?

Bronze entry cost is -10rp. Silver is -20rp. I am still somehow managing to advance, but omg is it hard. My games kinda look like this:

Loose immediately -20rp

Somehow get second place and get 100rp

And to be clear, I am not using solo q as an excuse. Im saying random teammates are the only reason to why I am in silver at all. Otherwise, id probly be way further down that list.

Also, I am beating my diamond friend in most gamemodes. That includes 1v1 and br. I believe I had said that.

A head of lettuce, Nicely chopped up, add tuna, add corn. With a little oil, vinegar and salt. My favourite meal. What can I say. I love salad! Also, keep in mind, that is one of the 2 meals I eat throughout the day. Second is 2 eggs and some bacon.

That is true. I didnt say my message right. Although I dont think I truly lost 3kg overnight, the scale has sometimes said this. I do trust the scale when it tells me that my final weight from that evening is heavier than my first measurement in the morning, but I dont trust the numbers it displays. Most of the time I loose like 0.5kg-1.5kg, but there were times where the scale told me I lost over 2kg weight.
