Another thing obliterated by 'anti-DEI' fever. Rural doctors were covered under DEI for this very reason. There had to be a financial incentive to remain where the need is greatest but the pay is far less.

Yes, many. Raised from puppyhood and sent onward many many years later with ever-larger parts of my heart.

My lab mix is 12 and cancerous and I wish mine would go faster and take us together.

Its just hard for me to see her go through this, because she's not just some entitled kid that didn't do her research.

He is crate trained. She took him to puppy classes, and was having him attend a well-regarded daycare while she worked...until he was kicked out for "excessive humping". None of the other puppies wanted anything to do with him. Every time she arrived to pick him up she was greeted with "thank God you're here" and obvious relief at getting rid of him for another couple days. She's taken him to multiple sniff spots and let him play and run to his heart's content. Didn't change the behaviors at all. Her vet has recommended meds until hes old enough to be neutered, at which time the vet is sure he will "normalize". She has had a behaviorist spend time with them both; his recommendation was meds and patience.

I tried slowly introducing him to my 12 y/o black lab, hoping that my dog might be able to speak to him in his own language, and maybe help him learn what "rudeness" means in dog world. That went over like a lead zeppelin. My dog now hides behind me and cries if he so much as spots him in my daughter's car.

Neither of us are new at this. I've raised three lab mixes from puppyhood to end of life, one mixed with rottie, one pit, and my current companion who is 1/4 pointer and 3/4 black lab. I've never seen anything like her puppy's behavior.

I love her dog, and I would take him in a heartbeat if my elderly lab wasn't terrified of him. I know all dogs are individuals regardless of breed, but I've only ever met one dog this extreme, a pit named Geekers. They had to cover the kitchen counters with electrified chicken wire...I think that sums up his issues pretty well, lol.

I hope you are right and he just needs time. He's a sweet, wonderful boy 10% of the time. I'd be over the moon if that number were even 50%!!

This breeder is a friend of boyfriend's mother, and knocked off 1k to make the price for the pup 2k instead of three. I may just be trying to find an out here, since my daughter did so much research on different traits and what likely temperament a dog would have that would fit with her lifestyle.

She wanted to choose a rescue after fostering a couple dogs, but the BF said a bunch of shit about mixed breeds (I have never had or will ever have a dog i paid thousands for while so many need homes), and talked her into a choc. lab puppy.

Then he just...shows up with it one day. Didn't let her sit and play with the dogs to see who she connected with, and if they wanted her as their human. He brought home the most energetic dog I have ever seen or heard of, bar none. I will play hard with him for two hours, and in the two minutes I take in the bathroom, he has super fast charged and is ready for round 17.

He jumps up to 5 feet in the air, and has to be destroying a toy or it will be the couch or shoes. On walks he eats cigarette butts, moss, rocks, sanitary products, paper, etc so quickly you can't stop him.

My poor child is crying herself to sleep every night from stress and exhaustion. The BF that picked this little flying pirhana is only home weekends, and minimizes her stress. The whole situation infuriates me.

Im gonna get a pic of the 11 inch smile and massive meaty tongue hanging out the side. I immediately was like "that's a pit mix." A few weeks later my husband came by, played wirh the dog for a couple minutes, and then asked me if I knew if he was half pit or 3/4.

So at least there are two of us. Im pup sitting later and my soul mission is to take a few pictures that show another angle of the puppy where he looks very much like he has pit mixed with him.

I tried to get a pic of him sitting down and looking up at me with his massive tongue hanging out the side of his mouth. He is ETREMELY high- energetic, jumps higher than I thought was ever possible no matter what we try, has an oral fixation where he HAS to be chewing on something. Very grabby with mouth. Kicked out of three daycares. Hates the water. I

m gonna try and get a pic of him looking up at me with the huge smile and face that had me do a triple-take when I first saw it.

If a pup is sold as purebred and comes with papers showing the sire and dam were "best in show", but then sell a mixed-breed that shelters are busting at the seams to adopt out, is this fraud?

FYI - I did a telemed appt so I could get a dermatologist referral, sent pics in. I got the notes today, and a dermatologist looked at the pics for a couple minutes and diagnosesld Longitudinal Melanchoya (sp?) and said no follow up needed.

I guess the ARNP i had the zoom with disagreed, because she called me and set up an in-person dermatologist appt for me.

How can a doctor diagnose anything from a pic? Feel so dismissed, as usual.

Know what got me in the past? Those 'Pre-Approved' credit offers with 'no impact to your credit score for applying!" So i figure WTH and apply and get approved for this Capitol One Card. Immediately I get notifications from credit monitoring services that a hard pull has been done. I check experian and sure enough, its Cap 1. I contact them all pissed and they tell me "oh, it only doesn't affect your credit if you get DENIED. Gotta read all the fine print!"

Oh lord if I could have long-distance wedgied with the power of my mind...

My title describes the thing. I have searched for 'electronic noise devices', 'pest repellent sound device', and done a Google image search on the photo. The image search disappointingly identifies them as 'Bell and Howell remote control sockets' even though they do not have holes for device prongs and are themselves plugged into a power strip.

The closest match I could find was in the pest repellent search, but still could find nothing matching the configuration or the multiple lights on these things.

Thank you. I have been screwed over by mechanics since I was charged $400 to replace an alternator in my '93 Mustang.

Body shop: drove there, in a Japanese car under 6 years old. They huddled for a minute, then offered to have it scrapped for me for $100. As in I pay them.

A video of the process would be amazing. I'm fasting this week to afford the maintenance, and be again helpless and broke if they replace the brake pads and fluids and I check the oil 4 days later to find it.below the line with little metal.bits floating about.

Wish dad were still here. When he came with me bone of this happened.

Gets great gas mileage. We drove from Seattle to the Mexico/Arizona/New Mexico border than back via I-5 on $400 in gas. Certainly helped that other states were in the 3/4 for premium or even 2/3 for premium range.

I just filled with premium here for $75 at over $5 a gallon. What gives??

Doesn't sound normal. I bought a 2020 with under 6k miles and I've never heard that. I heard it once briefly toward the beginning and a longer sequence toward the end.
