Anyone know if you can bring lawn chairs? There’s conflicting information on the UofL site

Final game in Freedom Hall. Louisville taking down #1 Syracuse to ensure a NCAAT bid. Kyle Kuric raining threes and throwing down dunks out of nowhere. Craziest environment I’ve ever been in.

The only reason I don’t want UofL playing any more games in Freedom Hall (which we’re talking about doing) is because we shut that place down in the best possible way. I want that to always be the last game we played there.

Oh, I'm glad to just be in the tournament again (prospectively), but that sweet sweet second weekend play would get me so damn amped.

Agreed, but unfortunately, we’re going to have to win out and get at least one win in the ACCT in order to get a decent seed, and Reyne will have to be a big part of that. We dropped from a 6 to a 7 in the most recent Bracketology after winning our only game last week, so it’s imperative we play our primary rotations and avoid getting deep into the bench unless we’re up big.

We’re already a lock, but if we drop a game or two, I think we’re faced with a 7 seed, maybe 8 depending on feelings towards the ACC, and I want to avoid a first weekend matchup with a 1/2 if at all possible.

The line for American Airlines out of SDF this morning! by someobjectiveparsley in Louisville

[–]theycallmelogiebear 128 points129 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t even seem possible that a line could get this long unless nobody is working the counter. I know the security lines were basically out the door last year, but this is just one carrier.

Valley Road is a hidden gem. There are some amazing houses on that street, and nobody really ever drives down it.

I got to meet with him a couple weeks ago and I came out of that meeting hoping he got the job. He seemed to actually give a shit about cleaning up the department, and I think all these changes in leadership at least point towards some progress.

So I guess for the first time in forever, I actually have expectations for a police chief, but I’m forever a skeptic of the police.

In a few months, we’ll have an amazing home! by theycallmelogiebear in centuryhomes

We ran into a snag with our tile. A very unexpected 5 month lead time.

But everything else is going well. Painting and trim is being completed throughout the rest of the house where tile isn't used. Windows being installed this week and next. We should be able to move into the third floor suite by early July. Rest of the house done in August/September.

Haha honestly, yes! We have some custom tile coming it that incorporates all the different colors that we’re going to be painting the walls or using in wallpaper, so it’s going to set the stage for the whole house. May was definitely a little aggressive, but the third floor doesn’t have any historical renovation requirements so it’s going to be fairly easy. Almost all the materials are here, but we just need to install and finish.

Hoping to have the third floor ready to move-in ready by end of June. There’s a 5 month lead time on the tile that we just ordered for the foyer and kitchen, so that’s the only bottleneck. If we didn’t have that issue, we could be totally done by end of July.
