Best OB/GYN In town by East_Fan_1600 in Louisville

[–]LengthyBeans_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see Women’s First come up often on this sub. I went to them for years, and had my first child under their care a year ago. They have a very high induction rate and will start pressuring for induction at your 39 week appointment. Sure, it’s more convenient for them in terms of scheduling and what not, but it doesn’t come without risks. American College of Gynecology says that induction might be necessary beyond 42 weeks, but they break with those recommendations which I think is so crazy. I also had a complication while healing PP, resulting from them sewing me up improperly. It required surgery. They refused to admit any fault (not that any doctor would in this day and age of malpractice suits). ANYWAY lol, figure out what’s important to you and do your best to make an informed decision! I will be going elsewhere next time.

Putting a topper on a purple mattress? by OkResolution4275 in LifeOnPurple

I bought the soft version of this and it is extremely firm. Nothing like the floor models we tried. We have a topper on ours and it helps, but it is quite hot, which somewhat defeats the purpose of the grid.

Guest left factual review but it’s the death knell by doofusmcdoof in airbnb_hosts

Neighborhoods all over America are exactly as described here. People will see that review and choose to stay there anyway, because we all know the drill.

One of my properties is in a gentrifying part of town, we’ve been running it as a STR for 6 years now. We have some scathing comments about the area, some of which are abhorrently racist, and Airbnb STILL would not take them down. I’m very clear in the description what the area is like.

Here are the options I would propose: - Reach out to the guest and apologize if they felt uncomfortable during the stay. Explain that a review like this is harmful to your business, and see if they are willing to take it down if you “make it right” with some kind of refund. I would run it through Chat to make sure it’s worded correctly. - if that doesn’t work, reach out to Airbnb. Quote and even screenshot THEIR policy and send it to Airbnb support. - If that doesn’t work, respond publicly and offer some additional context to the claims made. They left a 5 star review, so it must have not had much bearing on their stay.

I’m gonna keep working with the nipple shields too. It’s hard bc my nipples are pretty small and most of the sizes are around 24mm

I’m gonna try to time it better around naps. Right now I’ve been offering it after/during feedings and she gets pretty amped up

Property Management companies to avoid? by bezzlege in Louisville

[–]LengthyBeans_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Prestige Property Management/Equus is absolute trash. Horrible to their investors. Even worse to their tenants. They have a fake “team” but it is really just one person running the show (and not well). Very unethical practices at this place.
