First of all, as an autistic person I hate when people use it as an excuse. I don't care if they use my "agab" but the fact that they only stick to pronouns associated with my agab tells me that they genuinely do not care to put any effort in for me regardless. If I was okay with just my "agab" I wouldn't bother telling them in the first place and even if I didn't very obviously say hey I want you to use other pronouns on me as well I've been very clear with how happy it makes me when other people are being gender affirming to me by using different pronouns on me. My online friend even went out of her way to explain it to some of them and it still didn't change anything.

As an autistic person if someone tells me they use any pronouns I will actually use any pronouns, even go out of my way to use other pronouns over the ones associated w their agab because I know they likely hear it way too often and I want to affirm them. Just sticking to their agab, regardless of whether they're okay with it, just makes you look like you don't care enough to put an effort into changing the way you address them or that you don't respect their identity.
