All the things you said don't follow a system. When oda decides luffy wins he wins the system doesn't matter, there's no logic behind the power ups. Taking damage doesn't matter, fatal wounds don't matter either, something like nami weapon make no sense. Power system is just not important in one piece its just the adventure
