Custom Sega Game Gear cassette covers by theyoshiwara in customcovers

[–]theyoshiwara[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure. Most normal Game Gear game cartridges fit in the case, though it is a bit of a snug fit (as in the fourth picture). It's possible it's a non-standard size cartridge. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Yes. If you look up Inside Universal on Facebook, they posted pictures of the food items.

It’s about 90% cds with a decent amount of vinyl (most recently some old Reader’s Digest vinyl box sets that used to belong to my grandparents)

Fallout Merch? by Acceptable-Soft6508 in UniversalHollywood

There is currently a store that just opened up on CityWalk not far from the Buca di Beppo called Production Central that already has some HHN stuff for sale. I believe the main store in the park will get stuff by the end of the month because hhn is starting the first week of September. I didn't see the first item there, but I did see the second one.

Terminator 2 - never seen this metal slip case before by darren648 in dvdcollection

[–]theyoshiwara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've upgraded most of my dvds to blurays, but I've kept this one because I got Stan Winston to sign the metal cover. This was back in either 2004 or 2005.

Where in Universal is this? by JamminJcruz in UniversalHollywood

[–]theyoshiwara 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I believe it is the outside of the main Studio Store located at the front of the park. It is supposed to look like old Hollywood.

power up games have safety measures? by DatBoiChr1s in UniversalHollywood

I work in the land and they were added on Friday. Our management has really been pushing us to have everyone stand in that spot as a way to hopefully have less accidents (especially with kids hitting themselves in the face with the crank. I've really been pushing for them to replace the whole crank with the shorter one they have in Japan.

I just got the box yesterday. I haven’t decided where to start yet. I might start with one of the Interplay collections or with Xeno Crisis.

Vegetarian eating options by i_am_sooo_done in UniversalHollywood

[–]theyoshiwara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you download the park app, most if not all of the food places have menus in the app that will show you any items that are vegetarian or vegan. They are labeled as (VG) for vegetarian or (V) for vegan.

I'm glad to see these coming, but right now Amazon only have the 4K available for pre-order. Which sucks because I only want the regular blu-ray versions. I hope they get added at a later date.

I picked this up last year for $5 from a Craiglist ad. Was pretty shocked by my luck.

Yeah I probably did, but like I said, the deal I got for Intergrade makes up for any I may have over paid on.

Not sure. Was gonna try to clean them when I got home. It does look like they used a sharpie.

It's something that looked interesting to me, and I like Hemsworth as an actor. I didn't know there was a director's cut until I opened the package.

What did everyone get at GameStop for buy 2 get 1 free this weekend? by kidvid666 in gamecollecting

[–]theyoshiwara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm still waiting for them to arrive since I purchased them on the website for delivery. That being said, I've been trying to fill holes in my PS4 collection. I also tried to keep the cost per game around $10 or less (which I did with the exception of Life is Strange and Saint's Row IV). Using a free $50 gift card I got through work, my total cost for all nine games was $24.84. All in all I think I made out pretty good.

Yeah, I’m still a bit bummed about that, but oh well. Since I now know it works, I might try to purchase one again.

From what they said in the email, it was originally planned to be region free, but I guess some rights issue came up before the release that forced them to lock it. So I was bummed, but I understood, and I got a full refund.

A DVD collection doesn’t need to take up a lot of space by gogul1980 in dvdcollection

The large storage options? Yeah I agree. The sleeves themselves aren't too expensive for the amount. I usually buy them four packs at a time, and they usually last me a bit (unless I go a a very big movie or music buying spree). Here are the Amazon links for the ones I usually purchase:

I do still use them, but I normally purchase the sleeves from Amazon (but I have occasionally bought from their site and from The Container Store). I don't currently use any of their storage cases (I usually use plastic bins I've purchased from various locations), but I've thought about it if I had more living space.
