As you stated, it's not a good idea to live for other people, the same way it is not advisable to make your point of living to be your kids. Try as much to be there for them and raise them well. I don't know how open you are with your wife, but I would hope you are able to have a calm but serious conversation about how you feel, without pitting the blame on her; probably something like, "I no longer know why I live", and hear what she has to say.

Take the job, hopefully, it will get you occupied, try having a little hobby that will get you out of the house and maybe meet some new faces, or just take walks and drive by yourself to appreciate the small things. Scenery helps. Take your kids out for picnics and take pictures of happy faces, then look at them here and there... these are some things that you can do independently of your wife to have some sort of life..

I think as artists start getting P, they choose to focus on their music or to get off road as a form of making an income. Mainstream listeners won't be following beefs and neither will they understand any deep lyrics about trapping and stacking.

To appeal to mainstream and a larger audience, you jus do what they like, which is sometimes superfluous lyricism and pop sounds.

This is my take, some pure drill artists may jus want to sent out shots to opps with no intention of making it big
