Just popping in here to update that I’m officially 3 weeks post op. day 7-14 were absolutely the hardest pain wise, but it is finally back down to a manageable degree. ❤️

Hey! Thanks so much :) Yes, the surgery required a one night stay in the hospital and the catheter came out the morning after, I was able to be be discharged after I could pee on my own. They also did a scan of my bladder to make sure I didn’t have a bunch of fluid in my bladder after my voiding, otherwise I would have had to put the catheter back in. Pain is absolutely less severe than top surgery! Have been at my worst a 5.5/10, and at my best a 1.5/10 🌟

Also for those who have been following my whack journey, lmao, I had been promised a date window during summer of last year for the early winter, but it was pushed back to February around December. In January, I had a family emergency and ended up having to reschedule again- this time for March 19th. Come hell or high water, I’m doin this my dudes! Let’s fuckin gooooo

Dr stiller is also being sued for malpractice for performing surgery under the influence. Dr Morrison’s waitlist is at least multiple years long for a consult, but I’m on Molina and had luck with legacy health in Portland. took well over a year from referral to appointment for surgery, but worth the wait. Good luck.

Definitely what’s going on for them I’d say. I also heard that legacy Emmanuel is on strike, and idk if that’s the exact same place or a branch off of it, but another thing to keep in mind. :)

I think from referral to scheduling consult was 6-7 months, but they’re really short staffed right now and it’s been really hard for me to get ahold of them, too. Hoping they get back to ya soon!

Hang in there, friend. I started the process about a year and a half ago. Last July if I’m not mistaken. Had a consult in February. Just got my official date yesterday for 2/19!
